Acts 3:16
"By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see."

These are the next miracles I will be covering tomorrow night at 7PM. You can live stream on You Tube or Sound Cloud. Every miracle Jesus did was to point us to our Creator and to teach us something such as mercy, hospitality, grace, etc. What do these miracles teach us? Tune in to find out. You can also watch anytime afterwards in our archives under media at restorationchurchintl.org.  The entire month of June I am teaching on miracles on Wednesday nights at 7 PM because I believe it is time for miracles again.

7. Jesus Heals A Paralytic (Mt 9:2-7, Mark 2:3-12, Lk. 5:18-26)
8. Jesus Heals A Cripple At Bethesada (John 5: 1-18)
9. Jesus Heals A Withered Hand (Mt 12:9-12, Mark 3:1-6, Luke
5:6-10,)
10. Jesus Heals A Centurion’s Servant (Mt 8:5-13, Luke 7:1-10)
11. Jesus Raises A Widow’s Son (Luke 7:11-17)

What Jesus can do with two small fish, is just an example of what he wants to do in and through our lives. We can do greater things than these even because Jesus went to the Father and is interceding for us. God wants to use you to perform miracles.

Need a Miracle? Guard your heart.

Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Picture
Often things don't come as quickly as we would like. Healing doesn't manifest in the time frame we expected. Deliverance seems to allude us as we watch loved ones, or ourselves, spiral down deeper into impeding doom. This is when we need to guard our heart. The word of God that we read years ago, or a sermon we heard someone share on our phone or laptop, is still there. Guard it. Take it out your heart. Now, speak it out of your mouth. For the Bible says, "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." Luke 6:45 NIV
Picture
ACTION STEP: Refuse to allow your heart to get hardened. Stay faithful to the Word of God. Stop yourself from drifting through life. Circumstances and situations will change but the Word of God never changes. Eagles are tenacious. They will do whatever it takes to survive and protect they're young. I hope you enjoy this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b31CGUi3ElY  Sometimes, we need to just hunker down until the storm passes. Sometimes, we have no choice but to endure hardship as a good soldier. If that is you today, refuse to give up. The storm will pass. God will not fail you. Keep your heart soft toward God. He is a good father and wants what is best for you and those you love. Your miracle will come. Guard your heart.

Even when you don't want to.

It is incredibly hard to do what you are supposed to do at times. Everyone needs accountability, but we all like to dodge it; if at all possible in our flesh nature. Our spirit nature cries, "Don't leave me to myself." This is because, we know ourselves better than anyone else. We know we are failures, but Jesus. We know we are lazy, but Jesus. We know _________, but Jesus. I am so overwhelmed by who He is, and why He even bothers.

I am the kind of girl that would say, "Hey God, cut your losses now and start over." God, He says, "My mercies are new every morning." Well, today I needed those mercies. I did not want to get up. I mean, period. I am exhausted. My body hurts in places I did not know I had. I tossed, turned and dreamed all night long. Why? I don't know. But today, I feel lousy. But, I know people count on me. I know God does not like it when people do not keep their word. This Blog, is a small part of my daily devotions. A small part of my time with my Daddy God. I know me. If I don't start my day with Him, I am not going to be the best version of me. I gonna be "Job-ing" around. I don't want that. You don't deserve that. God would not be pleased with that. So, here we are. Now what? Ever feel that way?
Picture
So, what do you do? What's next? Eat breakfast. That's what's next. See, I am a social eater. By myself I would starve. I forget to eat. I could care less about eating. Put with friends, family and especially my lil men around me and I am like, "What we eating?" I could have just finished a meal, but Baby I am thinking about what we are going to do next, and yep, it is going to include food. I will go all out on a cooking binge. Once, I am alone--PS I do not eat leftovers! Just saying.
Picture
Who knows what this is a picture of? I sure can't tell. But, hey it said what I was wanting to say, so I used it.

I like to eat with people. Perhaps, it is my Italian heritage. Perhaps, it is because I had four siblings. No one ever got the pleasure of eating alone--if that's what some people consider a pleasure? Nope, not me I wanna see elbows flying! Let's see who can get to the sauce first and by the way pass the parmigiano! And, for the record--I always want to order desert!

ACTION STEP: So, today I get up. Today, I eat breakfast. Today, I spend my time with God. Today, I imagine you reading this. Today, I imagine you saying, "Yeah, I feel like that, sometimes. I didn't know other people felt that way too?  There is nothing wrong with me. People are not supposed to live isolated. It is okay to be me. I am going to do my thing. Tomorrow, will be a better day."  God is soooooo merciful. I truly believes He gets excited when His kids, just do what's right! Just love Him. Just spend some time with Him. Be the best version of you. Oh, and yesterday I forgot to mail in my Marriage and Love article due to Jubilee Magazine. So, say a prayer for me. Oh, and by the way, my baby girl is due to have her first (belly baby) any day. I am "that" Mom.

The greatest miracle and what miracles mean to teach us. #2 in the Series.

John 16:23-24 (KJV)
"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily I say unto you. Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he will give it to you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask and ye shall receive that your joy may be full."

Romans 10:9-10

And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation.  The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth gives thanks to salvation.  For the Scriptures encourage us with these words:
“Everyone who believes in him will never be disappointed.

Last night, I brought the second in the series for June on Miracles. I am teaching them in the order they are mentioned in the Bible. Each Miracle, I believe is symbolic of a greater truth and revelation than just the miracle itself, no matter how great the miracle. Miracles point us to the Miracle Worker, not to ourselves, or to the one doing the praying, or the one laying hands on the person. God does the miracle. He gets the glory. The greatest miracle is that we got saved.

The order of the miracles as they are given here is the actual historical order – as best that we I tell (indications of time and place are often not precisely given – in which these miracles occurred, although they may be sequenced differently in the different Gospel accounts.
1. Jesus Turns Water Into Wine (Jn 2: 1- 11)
2. Jesus Heals The Noble Man’s Son (John 4:46-54)
3. Jesus Provides A Great Catch Of Fish (Lk 5:1-11)
4. Jesus Heals A Demonic In A Synagogue (Mark 1:21-28, Luke 4:31-37)
5. Jesus Heals His Peter’s Mother-In-Law (Mt 8:14-15, Mark 1:29-31, Luke 4:38-39)
6. Jesus Cleanses A Leper (Mark 1:40-45, Luke 5:12-15)
Picture
ACTION STEP: Take time to join the message and hear how each miracle shows us a facet of God. Each miracle shows us something to come or something God wants out of our lives as well. Here is the link in case it doesn't show up. Word Press is sometimes weird about videos. You can also view in your Browser as that seems to work the best. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYGamkrklD8.  Be sure to join us every Wednesday night live at 7PM or I will try to post the Thursday after the message. "Job-ing" around in life

6/10/2020

Many don't want to ask anyone for anything. While in a staff meeting yesterday, someone read a devotion from Oswald Chambers. She pointed out the word "Ask" means "Beg." This was a revelation to all of our American minds sitting at that table. We think of begging as being a shameful thing. God considers it being a humble and persistent thing. Then, she said something really funny, "You all know I go (Job-ing around.) We were like, "What does that mean?" She explained, that sometimes she is like Job in the Bible praising God and thanking Him... then, in the next breath asking God to just kill her because of how miserable she is. We got it. We've all been there. We have all been "Job-ing around" many times in our life. But, there is a better way. We are not to be unstable!
Picture
There are rules of the Bible. Laws of the Kingdom. We have to abide by the rules in order for things to work. An example is gravity. Break the rules and things don’t work well. Work with the law of gravity and you can fly! Jesus said to ask the Father in His name. There is no other way. There are absolutes in the Kingdom of God. Over and over in several translations it reads: NKJV “And in that day you will ask Me nothing." BUT you know how many pray Jesus help me? Jesus heal me! Jesus give me money! No, that's not how to pray biblically. Pray, God I beg you, I am asking you in Jesus Name to restore financial blessings into my life. I loose angels to bring in my money and I bind the devil from stealing and holding back my finances. Do this is all areas of your life whether they are health, healing, relationships, jobs, children, whatever area you need God to intervene.
Picture
The clear path is the path the Lord has set before us. This path is found in the Word of God. Jesus is the WAY. There is no other way to the Father but through the Son. We can not be successful by only thinking, and acting on our thoughts. We are prosperous in all things by renewing our minds to the Word of God and acting on His Word and walking in His ways. Work with the laws of the Kingdom not against them.
Picture
ACTION STEP: If things are not going the way you want them to, if they are not causing God to rejoice, because He rejoices in the prosperity of the Saints--then ask, beg God to hear; and pray to Him through Jesus His Son. Operate according to Biblical principles. Work with the laws of the Kingdom, not against them. If you don't know the laws of the Kingdom of God, begin to study them out for yourself. Take time to watch this message from this past Sunday. I pray it will open your eyes to the truth of God's way. Here is the link if it does not show up in your email or open this in your Browser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMf-EQQoV-A
Make a great day! The choice is ours. We have all authority given to us by Christ Jesus. No more "Job-ing" around!

This blog is dedicated to E. Gibson for her term "Job-ing" around. I think it should be added to the urban dictionary.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Picture
As a Christian, I am a citizen of the United States, but first and foremost, I am a citizen of heaven. Philippians 3:20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” My allegiance to my heavenly country comes first, and it directs my behavior of a citizen of this country we call America. However, my heavenly allegiance will make me a responsible and conscientious citizen of my earthly nation.
Picture
ACTION STEP: If you have not already voted. Go vote. If you have voted pray God's will be done. You and I have no rights to complain if we don't exercise the rights we have.

John 16:23-24 Passion Translation

“For here is eternal truth: When that time comes you won’t need to ask me for anything, but instead you will go directly to the Father and ask him for anything you desire and he will give it to you, because of your relationship with me. 24 Until now you’ve not been bold enough to ask the Father for a single thing in my name, but now you can ask, and keep on asking him! And you can be sure that you’ll receive what you ask for, and your joy will have no limits!25 “I have spoken to you using figurative language, but the time is coming when I will no longer teach you with veiled speech, but I will teach you about the Father with your eyes unveiled.”

HERE ARE THE FOUR SECRETS OF PRAYER
1.   The Secret of Binding and Loosing
2.   The Secret of praying to the Father
3.   The secret of Asking in Jesus Name
4.   The secret of Agreeing and Praying in the Spirit

Every runner needs a coach and a trainer. He or she needs to have someone watch them to see that they are moving in the right direction, in the right form. The Word of God is our everything we need to keep us on course. The Word of God will get us to the finish line where we will hear, "Well done thy good and faithful servant."

Picture
Luke 11:1-11 (Passion Translation)

One day, as Jesus was in prayer, one of his disciples came over to him as he finished and said, “Would you teach us a model prayer that we can pray, just like John did for his disciples?”

So Jesus taught them this prayer: “Our heavenly Father, may the glory of your name be the center on which our life turns. May your Holy Spirit come upon us and cleanse us. Manifest your kingdom on earth.  And give us our needed bread for the coming day.  Forgive our sins as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. And rescue us every time we face tribulations.”
Then Jesus gave this illustration: “Imagine what would happen if you were to go to one of your friends in the middle of the night and pound on his door and shout, ‘Please! Do you have some food you can spare?  A friend just arrived at my house unexpectedly and I have nothing to serve him.’  But your friend says, ‘Why are you bothering me? The door’s locked and my family and I are all in bed. Do you expect me to get up and give you our food?’  But listen—because of your shameless impudence, even though it’s the middle of the night, your friend will get up out of his bed and give you all that you need. So it is with your prayers. Ask and you’ll receive. Seek and you’ll discover. Knock on heaven’s door, and it will one day open for you. Every persistent person  will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he needs. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.
“Let me ask you this: Do you know of any father who would give his son a snake on a plate when he asked for a serving of fish? Of course not! Do you know of any father who would give his daughter a spider when she had asked for an egg? Of course not! 13 If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.”

ACTION STEP: Run to the Father. Got to Him through His Son. Many people know about praying to God, but they know nothing of praying to the Father. They don’t sound as if they really know Him. He is the God of the World but He is Father to me. We have a right to the Jesus Name. God the Father sent Him to save us. Jesus returned to the Father and sent the Holy Spirit and told us, there is power in the Name of Jesus. Use it!

Mark 16:17-19 TPT “And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.” After saying these things, Jesus was lifted up into heaven and sat down at the place of honor at the right hand of God!

Our spirits need to be educated and trained. Just because you read the Word of God is no sign that your spirit is educated.

Mark 16:17-18
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
Ephesians 6:12
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Picture
We need to get down before God and fight our way through the host of the demons who hinder our prayers. We have weapons with which to fight the devil. The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God and the mighty name of Jesus are our weapons. So, I am working with all my heart and strength to get this message to everyone, "Fight with the Word of God. Use your tongue to go down into your heart and pull out the Word of God for your situation." The sword of the Spirit will always work. The word works if you use the word properly. The Bible even tells us that, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6) So, I want you to have the VICTORY and not perish.
Picture
You can defeat the devil every single time. Pray to God, if you are praying for the sick, claim they're deliverance in Jesus name. Jesus said, "In my name (believers) shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover." When we use the word of God coming our of our mouth with a believing heart we are standing on solid ground and the victory is ours. (If you don't see the video below go to your browser to view or click this link: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNd-PbVhnvA )
ACTION STEP: Today, if it's money, pray that it be loosened and come to you in the name of Jesus, God my Father I thank you for supplying all my needs, Amen. Money is the means of exchange on this earth. God is not a counterfeiter so He is not going to print money and rain it down from heaven. Adam had it all. God has streets of gold and the cattle on a thousand hills. Adam gave it to the devil by committing treason. But, thank God, Jesus came and defeated the devil. Then, God gave us the right to use Jesus name. So, today command the angels to go get your money. Tell the devil to loose your money in Jesus name. Then, thank God for the victory and drive on doing what God told you to do, not worrying or fretting; but obeying! God is a good Father and wants to give good things to His children. (Mat. 7:11)

We are in a war. It is time to brush up on our knowledge of the word of God. It is time to get proficient at using our weapons. We have the VICTORY! Now go take back what the devil stole.

The Awakening of the great. Praying for results!

6/4/2020

There is no reason for us to pray if we are not praying for results. God does hear. God does answer.  God did not put all the statements about prayer in the Bible just to fill up pages. They are there for our benefit. God wants us to pray in the name of Jesus to Him directly as a child cries out to their Father. God is not mad at you. God does not hate you. God hates sin, but He loves us--the sinner. When at the wedding of Cana, Jesus' mother told him, "They have run out of wine." His reply to her was, "Woman what has that got to do with me, my time has not come yet." But, she persisted. She told the servants do whatever He tells you. The servants did what He told them to do. Once they did what was told of them a miracle occurred. God wants to do miracles through you, through me. We need to plead our case and then obey what He tells us to do. Pray for results because it is the time for miracles.
Picture
Notice, that God said in this scripture, "Put me in remembrance." Those who have been mighty in prayer have always been those who reminded God of His promises and brought His Word before Him. Charles Finney is known as the man who prayed down revival. 85% of his converts remained true to God. Moody was a great evangelist but he only kept 50% of his converts. Imagine, Finny went to Rochester, New York in 1829 and conducted a meeting and practically everyone in town got saved! Grog shops closed down. (We call them Honkey Tonks and Beer Joints.) There wasn't a place in town to buy anything to drink. The only theater in town closed up. There was such a revival when the circus came to town only two people showed up. Everyone was interested in God. The revival was on.
Picture
ACTION STEP: This is not the Great Awakening this is The Awakening of the Great! For Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Pray until you feel like praying. Come see us Sunday morning and learn how to pray with power and get results. It's in the Word. It is for us today. It is time for MIRACLES to happen. Pray for results. Put God in remembrance of His word.

We can always learn more about God.

6/3/2020

Yesterday, I shared one of the secrets to prayer--knowing God as our Father and praying to Him, in His son Jesus's name. We don't pray to Jesus. We don't ask Jesus for anything.(John 16:23-24) We ask God our Father for everything. Remember, when the disciples asked Jesus, "teach us to pray.." He began with, "Our Father."

Today, I want to share another one with you. Our spirits need to be educated and trained. Just because we read the Bible doesn't mean we are educated. You can read the the Bible and not understand what you read. It's happened to me many times. The word has to get down deep on the inside of us until we get the revelation into our hearts. We try to grasp it with our minds, but we have to understand it with our spirit. We need teachers. We need to study. Look up words. Find out how to study the Bible. If you don't have a Bible get one with a concordance in the back to help you study.
Picture
When the prodigal son went home, the Bible says, "...he came to himself." Praying and fasting doesn't always bring the results we desire. We need to understand deep in our heart the authority of God our Father purchased for us by Jesus His son. If we want people free from the devil then we pray, fast and use our authority. Example, "You foul devil I command you in the power of God, through the name of Jesus to loose  __________________ . I bind you in the name of Jesus Christ from blinding ________________ from the truth of God. Now, Father I thank you _____________ is free in Jesus name." Now, praise God for the answer! Doubt not! The devil will lie and tell you nothing changed, but in your spirit you will have a confidence that comes from the understanding of spiritual warfare in your heart.
Picture
ACTION STEP: If you don't have a local church I will be sharing more on this subject this coming Sunday. Due to COVID19 State Regulations please go to this link and register: http://restorationchurchintl.org/church-service

If you have a local church but want to listen to the message you can do so by Live Streaming, Sound Cloud, You Tube and following this link: http://restorationchurchintl.org/media

In the meantime when you read your bible remember it is not the quantity of the word you read but the amount you understand and comprehend in your heart. Ask God, your Father to help you understand what you read. Ask your pastor to explain the passage you read, or someone further along in the word. God your Father wants you to be well informed and skilled in warfare in these last days. God loves His children. If you accept Him as your Father then He will not deny you as His son or daughter as soon as you ask Him to be your Savior and forgive you of your sins . Deny all association with the devil and his cohorts.  Renew your mind daily with the word of God and the more you hear the more faith you will have.

I am praying for you. These are dangerous times we live in, but greater is He that lives in us. You've got this, because God has got you!
