Are all miracles of God?

Not everything that is miraculous is from God. To put it simply, either miracles are based on Christ and the Bible or else they are connected with demons and the world of the occult. Just as Christ’s miracles were intended to lead men and women to Him, Satan wants his miracles to lead multitudes to worship him.

As far as the miracles of Christ are concerned it is particularly notable that the enemies of Christ never sought to deny the powerful works he performed (Matt 12:22-24) and they did not argue that they had not taken place. They attempted to attribute this works to the power of the Devil.

What Is The Purpose Of God’s Miracles?
Usually miracles help someone in need. But the meaning is always deeper: God gets our attention so that we are invited to look beyond the event to a Miracle Worker. Clearly if the purpose of Christ’s miracles was only to help someone in need, thousands more would have been healed etc. The simple fact is this: The primary purpose of the miracles was to authenticate the message of Christ and the apostles. Today, it is the same. When someone in a family gets a miracle the entire family is confronted with the opportunity to believe, that God intervened and worship Him and furthermore accept Him as their Lord and Savior. This was the story that happened over and over again through out the Bible.

When I was in Africa I prayed for a baby who was born blind to see. Before I left Africa the baby was playing Peek-a-Boo. Another miracle on the same day, in the same place, there was a little girl who was normal in every way. She was elementary school age and could not go to school, because she had contacted Malaria. The high fever had left her deaf. After praying for her. God did a miracle. The last I heard she continues to improve and is only hearing impaired and attending school once again. In India they were going to ostracize a woman from the community because she and her husband had not conceived a child, so they considered her evil and even went as far as saying she was demon possessed, and a witch. She dressed in all black and sat in the back on the church. I called her forth, and when I laid hands on her God said to me, "She has not womb." So, I laid my hands on her and ask God to do a creative miracle. When I explained to the congregation she had been born with no womb they gasp. I latter learned in the presence of men words such as those are not to be spoken. God does not care about culture--He loves people. People are God's business. He wanted to perform a miracle in this woman's life, which He did. I later heard she gave birth to a little boy. That church was changed because of a miracle, culture was broken but a woman was made whole and her marriage saved.

ACTION STEP: God wants to break through the hardened hearts of this world. God wants to break trough cultural barriers. God wants to break old thought patterns and traditions, and show Himself (His Love), because He is love, to His people. Now, is the time for miracles. This is the day for a miracle. God wants to use you to perform a miracle through to those who are in need of a miracle. Are you available? Is your character able to give God the glory and not keep it for yourself as Satan did? The war is raging. Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. Fight the good fight of faith. Remind yourself of who you are. You are a child of God. You are the redeemed. The Name of Jesus is for you to use with all authority. Be who you are created to be! The world needs to see His Love. Love never fails!
