Eight years ago I was asked to speak to a group of women. Prophetically, I knew that this was the beginning of something big for it's founder, and many of the women that were the "Ground floor" women, that she was grooming and growing. There may have only been a few acorns at that conference that first year, but I knew that in reality--there were many that were in the process of becoming mighty oaks.
Fast forwarding eight years and I was back with many of these women, and the growth was apparent. Many of the women had written books, traveled the nations, written songs, learned to play an instrument and even become a licensed minister. We should never despise small beginnings. Everyone that ever started anything, started small. All of us started small physically.
I want to encourage you to begin now no matter where you are. The only mistake you can make that is irrevocable is to do nothing.

Matthew 19:26 (NIV) "The photos that I used today are from a book I was given this year that was written by many of the women, (and others) that started that journey eight years ago. As I read through the pages I cried, I laughed, and I pondered what the next eight years will hold. Just like that little acorn, there has been growth in each of their lives. Roots have gone down and shoots have have grown up. Some have been battered by the rains of life. Others have been bent by the winds of adversity. Still others have grown straight, and tall, and have begun to flourish.
What have you done in eight years? I want to motivate you to do something. Reach for the stars. Read books about what you want to become, written by those that are doing what you want to do. Read the Bible to renew your mind. The mind is the machine that will take you places that your body can't get to--yet! It will renew your mind and refresh your parched spirit.
Nothing is impossible for those that believe. Be "WOW" be "EPIC"!
