The more I learn, the less I realize I know; and the more I want to learn.

 Proverbs 3:5
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”

I was challenged over a year ago to read ten books on the subject of abandonment. This was challenging to say the least. However, once I began reading the first book it would lead me to another book on the subject and then another. I started with reading and researching abandonment, and that led me to childhood emotional neglect, which led me to secondary post traumatic stress disorders and then that led me to complex ot traumatic stress disorder. Needless to say, I began to be an expert of the subject. The more I learned the more I wanted to learn. The knowledge I was acquiring was helping me to heal and become who God created me to be. With my new found freedom I was able to help others more. It was empowering to feel in control of my emotions and to be present in the circumstances that once overwhelmed me and caused me to disassociate.

We are stronger than we can imagine. We can learn new coping techniques. We can only help others to the extent that we have been helped ourselves. We are responsible for what God has entrusted to us. People are perishing for a lack of knowledge. God is all knowing. When we know God, we can be downloaded with the knowledge of God like the matrix. We can be reprogrammed. Our part is to get into the Word of God and start renewing our minds daily. But, once we are rewired--reprogramed then we need to take that information and give it to others.

Whatever we came through, we can to take others through. Sometimes in order to show the way, we have to make the way. We have to go first. Sifting through books, articles, podcasts, YouTubes and anything else I could get my hands on changed me first. The pieces of my life started coming together. Everything I'd learned pastoring over 30 years started becoming more clear.  Every story a client shared, or a church member cried through, was coming into clarity like each piece to a puzzle shows the bigger picture. God is so good. His goal is multiplication not merely addition.

I am thrilled to announce my book is written. I am in the process of citing all my resources and hearing back from my coach about what my next step is. I will keep you posted. "The Blue Jean Jacket" will be a bestseller! I decree it! I believe it. Look for it at my Fall Intensive. Click here for early bird pricing:
