Thirsty Thursday

Matthew 5:6 NIV
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

A hunger and thirst for righteousness refers to appetite, a desire, a craving for righteousness. Do you have an appetite for righteousness or are you content the way you are? There are two kinds of righteousness: God’s righteousness and self-righteousness. Many know God is right and that they are not. There are others who think God is old fashioned and wrong, and they are right.  Where do you stand? Check out this video.

ACTION STEP: Take five minutes to really listen to yourself and ask yourself what are you secure in your righteousness, or Christ's? Know that you know. If it's Christ righteousness thank Him for it.
