7. Gather up your endorsements before your book is done. Ask someone famous. They need to keep their name out there. The person that writes your forward is considered a co-author. You read their name because it will be listed with yours. It gives them a chance to give back to the little guy. They were the little guy once.
8. Use hashtags and mentions. Get their attention before you need it. They will take notice of you. They all watch the trends of their Instagram accounts, so be there everyday. This will help your number of followers, and when your book hits the market more people will know about it. Essentially, you don't have a large following so you ride on theirs. This way it is a win/win. Compliment, connect and ask. All they can say is, "No." Remember, no answer means ask again. Don't make an email too long. Get them at hello. Don't make the "Ask" about you. 10. The above help the sales of your book, and that is the biggest thing I didn't know when I wrote my first two books. So, sale, sale, sale, before your book is written. Also, try to get in newspapers and on TV. When on TV, don't get on to sale your book, but to get viewers on their show. For that, you may get asked back. I will not be on TV to sale, "The Blue Jean Jacket" but to minister to people and make the viewers relate to my story of being abandoned. People connect with others at their point of pain. Pain is a megaphone. Help people. Serve people and books will sale.
