“I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.”
14. Who will you dedicate your book to? Will you even have a dedication? Will you also do a page in your book to thank everyone who helped you write the book? Something I plan to do is to include a QR Code that will take my reader to my website for a free Abandonment Assessment. After they take the assessment I will give them the opportunity to schedule a time with me to coach them to write their book. You can also include a page with your other resources, how to contact you, or even a link for them to submit their own abandonment story for you to read and possibly publish in your next book. Just think outside the box. You got this!
15. Will you self publish or send your manuscript out to see of a publisher will publish you? I used Wendy Walters with Palm Tree Publishers out of Texas. She is great with first time authors. I have also looked into B&B Publishers daughter of Dr. John and Rebecca Polis and their spiritual son Ben Hoffmaster. Some of the people in my church have used Xulon and Print on Demand. Xulon at the time had a great publishing deal which included business cards, flyers, postcards and banners. Check your options.
16. Do you have a website and several social media platforms? Do you write for any magazines, newspapers or publications? Publishers look at this. They want to know if you are credible and sustainable. Can you continue to put out books?
I believe in you and you need to believe in yourself.
