Deuteronomy 31:6-8
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

If we did not have a God who makes all things new this diagram would be pretty depressing. But, we do have a God that not only makes all things new, but also makes all things work together for good for those of us that are called by His name--Christians.
I have battled many of the things in this diagram from being abandoned, neglected emotionally and traumatized. I experienced and at times still do experience pain in my body due to an inability to release stress. I have dealt with most of the things in the diagram above but the Lord has been faithful through it all. I may not have recognized the reason, but it is crystal clear now. God is my healer. I had to do a lot of the work to renew my mind, forgive, acquire knowledge and accept my freedom brought in Christ. You have that choice too.
The word of God renews my mind. The word of God has triumphed over death. So, any areas of my brain, my mind, my body and my spirit can be resurrected by the same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead. God is a good God, and He is our Father with all the power we need to be overcomers and victorious in this life.
It matters more where I am going, (Heaven) than where I am from (Genes). I say this, because regardless of what is in my DND and my gene pool, the blood of Christ in my life triumphs over all of my enemies. That means the enemies of my life both in the flesh (the body) and in the blood line.
If you are reading this today make no mistake, you do not need to be depressed or anxious about anything. You and I can pray about everything. No weapon formed against us can prosper. Our heavenly Father knows everything we have gone through and He will never leave us. He is with us right now, today He is as close as the mention of His name.
ACTION STEP: Reach out to God and ask Him to heal your broken places. Ask God, your Father to come and show you where He was during those times you were traumatized and let Him show you. Allow God to be there for you now as an adult. See your past through the new eyes God gives us. You and God have got this.
