When things get messy with God.

Isaiah 55:10 NKJV
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,"

We often complain about the very thing that can change our situation. We complain about what can change others, ourselves, and the problem. Why? Because we dislike process. Let's take rain for example. We look out and it's raining. We think, "Ahhh, I got to go get in the car in the rain. The drive to work is going to be bad." "I can't mow today." "Well, there goes my golf game, my run, my picnic, you fill in the blank ________________." The rain ruins our day.

Now, when the rain comes down, it's truly a blessing. We receive much needed water for our plants, our food, the earth to survive and produce oxygen for us to breathe, water in which to bath and drink, and the list goes on. There is a process. Most of us don't like process.

Our challenge is to look to God in the process. Most women don't like the nine months of waiting for a child. They don't like the process, but love the product. Most people don't care much for the schooling to become a doctor, or dentist, or nurse, or teacher, but they love their profession once attained. When we are in the process we need to look for rainbows and when it's dark look for stars. Look to God's word for encouragement.

Embrace process. I'm Italian. I love to eat. I love to cook. Recently, I made two large trays of lasagna. I didn't like the process of shopping and spending fifty dollars. I didn't like that it took me hours to make and cook the sauce, and then prepare all the other ingredients. Grating cheese takes more time than I care to admit, but it taste so much better than pre-grated. I didn't like how long it took to assemble all the ingredients, but I loved eating it! I loved sharing it with friends and family. Allow me to encourage you when your going through process, just like a rainy day, put on a pair of cute boots and jump into the puddles!

Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

ACTION STEP: Embrace the process. Whether God is working on you, or you are working through a chore, a job, a marriage, schooling, whatever it is just keep forging ahead. The process will end. The lasagna will be finished. You will have that baby. You will be qualified for that job. You will get that diploma. The rain will stop. The sun will come out again. You will be better having been processed. No one wants to eat a half-baked cake. Allow God to finish what He started. After all, Father knows best. When things get messy, look for the message.

Allow me the privilege of helping you through the process. ht
tp://restorationchurchintl.org/women-of-witness .     I want to meet you personally and help you become all God has called you to be. Get a few friends together and put on your boots and jump in.
