We are all given this space in time.
We are all at different stages in life, but life is surprisingly predictable.
In order to get what we need from the time we are given, we must invest in ourselves; for we are our best investment. We take us wherever we go, and bring us into each relationship we have.
Believe in yourself! Invest in you!

Go ahead and read the book, it is a real eye opener. When you order you will probably want to share it, so you may as well order a few copies.

Change is not easy.

“Jesus said to him,
'If you can believe, all things are possible to them that believe'”
Mark 9:23
It is time to change your mindset, and renew your thoughts and ways of thinking. ... If you can renew your mind and thoughts toward the things of God, you can change your world.

Today, is another opportunity to change. I have learned as I am in the process of healing from abandonment that, it is not just a me issue it is an epidemic. I just changed enough, I could see it in myself, and begin the work needed to begin the healing process; and it is a process. Each day we wake up, we can chose either to stay in our cocoon of fear, or we can change. Small changes make big differences.

If you are like me, we hide abandonment like it was something to be ashamed of--because we are. When people choose others over us, our first thought is usually, "Something is wrong with me, I am bad." It took me a long time to find out, something was wrong with the one that left. I am good. That's when I quit overcompensating. I was wearing myself out trying to be good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, just plain enough. There is freedom to quit crawling around and start spreading your wings to fly.

ACTION STEP: Please pray for me as I do my best to forge ahead writing. I have three books I am working on. I still put everything and everyone before myself. It is a hard habit to break when you believed, it was the answer to your survival. The self-talk was always screaming, "Stand up straight, be good, be nice, be smart, be kind, don't make a mistake. The high alert vigilant me would kick in. Smile. Talk. Do something. I know people live here. I want to give hope and share a way out.

Proverbs 12:25

"Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad."

God has given me a mandate to raise kings. He has shown me in dreams and visions of raising kings. The Lord is returning the King of Kings. Who are the kings that the King is returning for? It is you and I. At times, we all have struggles; but it is in the struggle that our wings become strong and we can emerge the beautiful creature our creator intended us to be. I found my wings in my struggles. It caused me to keep searching and reaching for answers. God did not allow me to settle for scraps from His table, He desired more for me. He desires more for you too. I pray to see you soon.

ACTION STEP: Don't take your emotions and stuff them and ignore them. Emotions can make us joyful or judgmental, happy or hurtful, pleasant or pitiful. Are you getting the point? So, if we are going to have emotions because we are human, let's deal with them in a manner that can help us and maybe even heal us.

Dominion, Power and Authority.

Gen 1:26–28
“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth”

Psalm 8:6 ESV
"You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet,"

God has given us authority. As long as we are responsible to God and use the authority given us to rule our lives and affairs on this earth well, giving God freely and cheerfully what belongs to Him and living a godly life we will continue to live exercising that dominion. However, when we become thankless, disobedient to God and His word, greedy, selfish, damaging to ourselves and others we will lose that authority. When we loose the authority and blessing to have dominion things are no longer under our feet, but over our heads.

The only thing to do then, is to ask God for mercy, to repent, and be sorrowful of our sins, and begin to live godly lives again. There may still be repercussions from our sin, but in God's mercy and forgiveness, we will see our peace, and even joy return.

ACTION STEP: Stop and ask yourself what was the last thing God asks you to do? Did you do it? Are you tithing? Are you reading your Bible? Are you exercising the authority you have been given over yourself first? Can you tell yourself, "No?" Why not?

Begin to use your authority over yourself first. Tell yourself what to do. You have been given authority--use it. If you do not use it, you will lose it.

I believe in you and you need to believe in yourself.

It will be a new start for you to be with other godly women in an environment of God's presence and power. The Bible tells us that in His presence we are changed. Get into His presence. Are you sick? Healing will be available. Are you depressed or bound? Deliverance can be experienced. What you want, what you need, God has. Reach out and grab it.

Proverbs 14:34
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."

According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” There are two Greek words which are translated “new” in the Bible. The first, neos, refers to something that has just been made, but there are already many others in existence just like it. The word translated “new” in this verse is the word kainos, which means “something just made which is unlike anything else in existence.” In Christ, we are made an entirely new creation, just as God created the heavens and the earth originally—He made them out of nothing, and so He does with us. He does not merely clean up our old selves; He makes an entirely new self. When we are in Christ, we are “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4 KJV). God Himself, in the person of His Holy Spirit, takes up residence in our hearts. We are in Christ and He is in us.

Righteousness exalts a nation. People make up a nation. Individuals have to be righteous in order to self govern. When people fail to do right then they loose their liberties, ask anyone who has gone to prison. Babies have very few liberties because they are unable to regulate their behavior, unable to self-govern, unable to be responsible; therefor they are governed by their parents in all areas. The less we are able to be righteous and do right the less freedom we will have.

ACTION STEP: Put on the righteousness of Christ. We don't put on the armor accidentally. We have to as Ephesians chapter 6 tells us, "take up the full armor...put on the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth...", daily! The Sun of Righteousness will appear and those who are in Christ and have put on Christ will not be burned. Don't fear the Sun.

Freedom Friday

John 8:36
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Anything worth having is worth fighting for. America fought for her freedom. Let us war in prayer to keep her freedom.

Action Step: Respond in love and stay true to Christ who purchased your freedom. You can start with Brother Andrew with Open Doors "The Bible Smuggler." Read about those who stayed true to the faith and how God brought the victory. God is still Jehovah Nissi the Banner over us. Respond with integrity. Do things God's way.

Have a great weekend. Go to church. Be with family! Pray. Stay faithful.

Thirsty Thursday

Matthew 5:6 NIV
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

A hunger and thirst for righteousness refers to appetite, a desire, a craving for righteousness. Do you have an appetite for righteousness or are you content the way you are? There are two kinds of righteousness: God’s righteousness and self-righteousness. Many know God is right and that they are not. There are others who think God is old fashioned and wrong, and they are right. Where do you stand? Check out this video.

ACTION STEP: Take five minutes to really listen to yourself and ask yourself what are you secure in your righteousness, or Christ's? Know that you know. If it's Christ righteousness thank Him for it. Awaken Righteousness-there is healing in his wings.

Malachi 4:1-3
“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble; the day is coming when I will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of Hosts. “Not a root or branch will be left to them.” “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall. Then you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day I am preparing,” says the LORD of Hosts.…"

The 17th Century czar of Russia, Peter the Great, lived in a palace filled with exquisite artwork. Yet whenever he saw a sunrise he wondered why many did not awaken early enough to view one of the most glorious sights in the universe. “They delight,” he said, “in gazing on a picture, the trifling work of a mortal, and at the same time neglect the one painted by the hand of the Deity Himself” (Joel Pankow).

Each morning we get to chose what we are going to gaze upon. We choose where we walk. We choose what we think about. We choose what we do with our time and our monies. We choose either to do right or to do wrong.
No one else walks in our shoes.

One day Jesus will return. One day we will be judged by how we lived this time we were given. One day the Sun of righteousness will either burn us up or because we have put on the ultimate sun screen Jesus Christ--we will not be burned.
One day what burns the arrogant and evil doer will bring healing in His wings to us who have put on Christ.
Christ is our righteousness.
Only Christ.
Not good works.
Not money.
Not going to church.
Only Christ.
