Deuteronomy 6:18 (NIV) "Do what is right and good in the LORD's sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the LORD promised on oath to your ancestors,"
Many people I talk with are unhappy and stressed. If I would boil all the reasons down, it comes down to not listening to their inner voice. Most people know what's right, but they fear others or fear not fitting in. Most people don't want to be the only one not participating or doing something different than the majority.
When I begin to share with them that this is being led by the flesh, instead of the being led by the spirit, they totally agree. However, knowing what your circumstance is doesn't necessarily change your circumstance. I share with them that as we renew our mind to the word of God and feed our spirit man, we get the power to tell ourselves what to do, regardless of what others do.

ACTION STEP: Begin today to obey the inner voice. Start telling your flesh "No". When you know right, choose to do right. When you know something is wrong, ask God to give you the boldness you need to turn away from what is wrong, and choose right. Never fear being alone. Jesus said He would never leave you. Feelings lie, Jesus doesn't. You are never alone when you choose right!
