Breaking Generational Curses

6/29/2018

I just finished a series on Breaking Generational Curses. Many have asked for the handouts and CD's of the services. This Series will be available soon and will include a media CD so that you can print the handouts. Many testimonies and praise reports have been coming in. One third of Jesus's ministry on this earth was casting out demons. The best information I have ever heard on this subject is by Pastor Robert Morris. Some of the best books I have read on the subject are by Derek Prince and Ryan LeStrange. Much of the materials in this series are from the things I learned from them.

We get to chose. Our minds are like Grand Central Station. Trains are thought that come in all day long. It matters what train we get on. The train we get on determines our destination. Get on the "Renew" your mind train. Get on the "Repent" of all my sins train. Take a ride on the I "Renounce" satan train. Take captive every thought.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

We can be free from all generational curses, sins, diseases, anxiety and depression just to name a few simply by repenting and asking God to forgive us and heal us. He is faithful to answer if we call upon His name. Pray the prayer below. Order your copy of the series today at
[email protected] and requesting this series.

MY DELIVERANCE PRAYER
Heavenly Father I come to you now in Jesus’ name, to repent of all the sins in my life and also in the lives of my ancestors, that may have resulted in a curse. I repent of all disobedience, rebellion, mistreatment of others, lying, cheating, using or slandering Your name in vain. I repent of all perversion, lust, incest, fornication, adultery, idolatry, witchcraft, murder and any occult involvement.
Heavenly Father, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of your Son—The Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus I now take the authority you have given me and ask You to anoint me now as I command all demonic spirits of Anger, Rage, Fear, Depression, Destruction, Torment, Guilt, Bondage, Vagabond, Rejection, Unforgiveness, Bitterness, Mind-control, Double-mindedness, Confusion, Passivity, Sickness, Diseases, Pain, Fetter and all Addictions to Food, Alcohol, Drugs, Sex, Pornography, Gambling and Nicotine to come out in the name of Jesus. No demonic spirit is welcome in this holy temple!
I break all spoken curses and spells that may have been performed over my life and any curses resulting from involvement with Qiuja boards, Psychics, Tarot Cards, Horoscopes, Secular Music or through TV, Movies or Pornography.
I break all curses off my family, marriage, children and relatives. I break every Shackle, Chain, Cord, Habit, Craving, Debt, Soul-ties and spirit that has tried to rob, kill or destroy my life.
I command my family to be set free. I break every demonic assignment over my family. Satan, loose them now! In Jesus’ name! According to Galatians (3:13) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. I am God’s child and through my Lord Jesus, I am able to cast down all demonic powers and spirits that come against me or in my family’s lives.
I am not cursed, but blessed! I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am blessed and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. I am free and I am saved. I have now exercised my faith and know that confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9, 10). All of my sins have been remitted, and I am loosed from the curse that came as a result of disobedience and rebellion to the word of God.
Thank you Heavenly Father, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for forgiving me and loving me. Thank you for setting me free from every curse and spirit that has operated in my life. Father God, I pray for discernment and for a new vision to help me recognize and resist all evil and all fleshly, worldly ways. I am anointed through the Lord Jesus Christ, and I thank you Jesus for your guidance and discipline as I continue to be a victorious soldier and holy child. AMEN!
Sincerely: ______________________________________

What does the Word of God really say?

Proverbs 16:18 (KJV) Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
Picture
I have lived long enough now to understand that when people want to go do something, even if it is wrong, they will find a way to do it. Sin takes preparation. Whether it is to have an affair or, do Heroine it takes planning. Once sin is seeded into your soul, which is your mind, will and emotions the poison begins to pump through your system. Then, your entire system begins to shut down on everything else. You quit thinking about your job. You quit thinking about your family. You quit thinking about your health, your money, your future and God. All you think about is the sin that you are wanting to commit. You have become a slave. You have fallen not just into sin, but you actually think you are smarter than God, and you are the exception to the ramifications of the sin you are not just committing--but committed to.

Pride will tell you, "You got this." Pride will tell you, "You will never get caught." Pride will tell you, "Everyone else may get caught but you're smarter than that." Pride lies. Sin leads to death. At first the sin may seem to you as a safe stronghold to run into for release and peace. Soon that stronghold becomes a fortress and eventually it becomes a tomb, from which there is no resurrection.
Picture
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Actions Step: Today, asks yourself the hard questions. Where have I thought that I was smarter than God? What am I doing that consumes my thought life that is not of God? In what area of my life do I need to get right with God? Then, ask God for help in that area. Ryan LeStrange says, "A devil exposed is a devil defeated." Get your life back! Once the thief is caught he has to pay back! It can be payback time in your life, today!

I absolutely love being a "Nonna". This is what my grandsons call me. When they see me their little faces light up, and they grin from ear to ear. I literally feel my heart soar.

They are at the beach for the very first time. My daughter is sending me pictures and I am doing my best not to blow up facebook. Nevertheless, my heart is thrilled with the joy that God has allowed me to experience. The gifts the Lord gives us are immeasurably better than anything this world has to offer.

Deuteronomy 6:2 and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the LORD your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.
Starting the first Wednesday night in July and continuing through the entire month I will be teaching a series on Parenting. If you don't have a local church or they do not offer a mid week service allow me to personally invite you. If you do not live in the area you can live stream by clicking on this link http://mfc.churchonline.org

Being a grandparent is an opportunity to not just have a chance at doing things better, but investing into your grown children the knowledge you have gathered; so that together you can do things better. It is an opportunity to apologize to your grown children for the things you and I didn't do right. It is a great opportunity to share the word of God, and the wisdom of God that you have gathered while on your journey of raising children. God trusted Abraham because He knew Abraham would do right with his children. As children of Abraham ourselves let's keep the "doing right" going throughout all generations.
Deuteronomy 4:8-9 And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today? Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

Freedom-Free Indeed if we do it God's way

We are living in a day when so many are doing things their way. It is sad to see Christians living their lives their way.

Peter would have gone home empty handed without Christ intervening. In fact, Peter made a life-changing decision that impacted eternity, when he chose to follow Christ. What have you and I gone without because we refuse to do things God's way?

Peter had toiled all night and taken nothing. It can be discouraging when you fish a long time without catching anything. Peter is about to make some major decisions with his life! He is about to decide to do things God’s way but first he learns some valuable lessons. We can only change the way we do things when we hurt bad enough we want to hear how to do it differently.
Picture
Peter Learned That It Pays to Do Things God’s Way!
Peter was willing to allow Christ to use his boat to teach the people. Now Christ is taking Peter fishing! Jesus does not need a fish finder! In a short amount of time they catch so many fish that they need a second boat to help! Not only did they need the help, but they fill both boats so full of fish they are about to sink! Peter is learning that nobody ever serves God without being rewarded by Him. However, the serving has to come before the receiving.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Picture
Peter Learned That It Would Cost Him Something to Do Things God’s Way!
In verse four, Jesus told Peter to launch out into the deep. This is more than just thrusting out a little from the land like he did in verse three.
This required more work on Peter’s part after he had already toiled all night. Ministry is spelled WORK and most people are trying to get out of that, not into it! You got to get all the way in with Jesus. There is no halfway anything with God.
What blessings are you missing because you are living life your way?

New Series Starting Soon-The Power of Freedom

6/25/2018

As a local pastor I am always studying ahead to what God wants to say next. This coming Wednesday night I finish a series on "Breaking Generational Curses". We had a wonderful service last week as God came to deliver His people, even before the series was over. Perhaps that is why I love Him so much--He loves us so much. You can catch all the episodes on the web. You are welcome to join us for our last episode this coming Wednesday evening at 7PM.

Starting Sunday, I will begin sharing on "The Power of Freedom". People can break out of prison or some type of confinement, and still not be free. For example if someone escapes from prison they may say they are free, but they are constantly on the run, looking over their shoulder, wondering when they will be caught.

When God sets us free, we are free indeed. No more looking over your shoulder. No more wondering when the next temptation, drug, drink, pimp, or pornography is going to dig its nails back into your arm, or worst yet your heart.
Picture
John 8:28-36  (KJV) "Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
If you don't have a church and you live in the Monogahelia, PA area, or the Morgantown, WV are I pray you will come and hear what the Lord wants you to know about being free. In PA our services are at 6PM and you can click here for more information: http://restorationchurchintl.org/monongahela.  If you are in the Morgantown, WV area service starts at 7PM. Click here for further information: http://restorationchurchintl.org

Then one day you will say, "It cost me to be here!"
"It cost me something!"
"Everybody didn’t make it here!"
Don’t fight for the freedom, if you’re not going to enjoy it?
Your still hateful and depressed-you had to leave things.
Not looking over my shoulder ever again—free indeed. Not living like a runaway.
Escaped Pharaoh-but not free untill they crossed the Red Sea and Pharaoh was drown, then they were free-free indeed!
Not free but running from my history.
Not free but the drugs still chasing me.
Not free but the alcohol still calling me.
Not free but angry at the drop of a hat.
Not free but still bound.
Not just free, but not free indeed.
Action Step: If you can't make it to one of our services, you can watch us on Facebook live, or go to our archives on our website. Don't live another day bound by your past, what was done to you, or what you wish had been. Be set free. Christ paid for your freedom. Freedom belongs to you. It's yours. Jesus loves you and wants you free.

Main vehicle of Blessing and Curses is words.

Deuteronomy 30:15-20 “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”
Picture
Curses come from disobedience. God can not violate a principle or the Word of God.

Joshua knew he could take possession of the land after he spied it out. Joshua and Caleb say’s let’s do it. Everyone else reports the negative they see in the land. Moses goes with the majority! And for 40 years--40 years they wander in the wilderness. Joshua knows Moses is taking 40 years of his life, and has to honor Moses anyway. Joshua never dishonored a those is spiritual authority.

Joshua went to the promise land and Moses did not. Joshua went on to fight great battles and win.

Let everyday be a day of Celebration!

6/19/2018

I enjoy all the songs by Naomi Raine. I hope you enjoyed her You Tube from yesterday.  Today, I have given you another one of her songs. This song, "Celebrate" is what I want to talk to you about today. Celebrating the King and His Kingdom.

We have the awesome opportunity to celebrate our King and His Kingdom. We get to be a part of what He is doing in our lives everyday.  Most talk about His return. However, I like to talk about His Kingdom on this earth right down. Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done..on earth!!!! as it is in Heaven. See, this is why I celebrate. His Kingdom is on the earth now for those of us that pray, and ask Him to come. I expect Him to show up in my everyday life--and He does.
Picture
Matthew 6:10 (KJV) "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
If you don’t get anything else from today's Blog get this: much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power. There is power in prayer.

When we use the word “kingdom” we think of a place or an area with geographic and political boundaries. But the Greek word for "kingdom" in the Bible puts the emphasis on the rule or reign of the king rather on the place that king exercises that reign. In fact, some Bible translations translate the Greek phrase "kingdom of God" as the "reign of God" or the "rule of God" to bring out this idea. If Jesus announced the kingdom or reign of God, why do we see so much evil in the world? Clearly, the kingdom of God has not reached fruition. So we live in a time of tension between the establishment of God’s kingdom and its consummation. Some Bible scholars call this a tension between the "already" aspects of God’s reign and the "not yet" aspects" of God’s reign. The powers of evil and darkness have been defeated by Jesus through his death and resurrection, yet because of the "not yet" there’s still evil and darkness in our world. So when we pray, "your kingdom come" we’re not asking for the "already" part, but we’re looking forward to the "not yet" part when God’s will shall always be followed.
Action Step: Begin to pray daily for the Kingdom of God to established on earth as it is in Heaven. Begin to see yourself living in the fullness of God's presence with all the rights and privileges of a child of royalty. See yourself as a vital part of the Kingdom....because you are!

Pour me out.

6/18/2018

Phil. 2:17 (NIV) "But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you."
Picture
When we commit to be poured out for the Lord and His purposes, we must remember He is a rushing mighty water. (Ez. 43:2) He does not just drip, but He opens the Flood gates of heaven. (Isaiah 24:14-23)

Isaiah 44:3 (NIV) "'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants;"

When we can say, "All I am is Yours", something begins to change on the inside of us, and when we change, everything changes. We are not waiting on God. God is waiting on us. Can you say with me, "All I am is Yours? Everything I am is Yours?"  This take commitment to a new level. What I eat or don't eat is a matter of obedience to God. What I spend? Where I go? What I read? The kind of music I listen to? God determines what transpires in this temple He allows me to live. I have been bought with a price and I am no longer mine. (1 Cor. 6:20)
Action Step: Ask God to pour you out withholding nothing. He will never ask more of you than He is willing to give back to you in this life and in the world to come. Go the extra mile. Fast the extra day. Give the extra money, time and energy. God is looking to multiply whatever you give to Him.

Make the wise choice to become a blesser!

6/15/2018

Proverbs 18: 20-21 “With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; he will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Picture
As in the health of the body, a doctor can often assess our state of health by looking at our tongues; so is true in the spiritual realm.

James tells us that the way a man uses his tongue is a test of his spiritual strength (James 1:26). He also says that if a man can control his tongue he is a perfect man (James 3:2).

The Bible speaks of the tremendous power of words; both for good and evil, for blessing and cursing.

The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about the power of words. Here are just two examples:

Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”

Proverbs 12:18 (NIV)  The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”

James said that the tongue is “an unruly evil, full of deadly poison” (James 3:8). He goes on to say this: “With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so” (James 3:9-10).

Just like we can speak in such a way that it blesses people and builds them up, we can also speak curses over people’s lives.

James is not talking about profanity here; he is saying that our words can literally
curse people.

A curse is a supernatural force to bring harm and destruction to a person’s life.

Curses may manifest in various ways but, be sure that this is not some superstitious or primitive belief. The Bible speaks about blessings and curses, and these are both real forces in the world.

A “word curse” is the opposite of a spoken blessing. It is speaking words over people’s lives that take the form of a curse, bringing harm and destruction.

Word curses have the most power when they come from those in authority: parents, teachers, coaches, and even pastors.

Those who speak them are usually not intentionally putting a curse on people;
they just don’t realize the power that their words have.

Here are some examples of a word curses from a parent to a child:
“You are so stupid. You are never going to amount to anything in life.”
“You are going to end up just like your father” (in a negative sense).
“You are such a failure. Can’t you do anything right?”
“Nobody would ever want to marry you.”

When words such as this are declared over a child, the parent is cursing that child.

The curse does not automatically take effect, but when a child believes and receives these words, they become lodged into their soul and become a force for harm.

It is not uncommon for evil spirits to be attached to these words, reinforcing the lies that have been spoken.

Are you living under the power of a word curse?

Are there things that have been spoken over your life—even years ago—that have taken the effect of a curse?

To break free from these curses you must renounce your agreement with them.

Any way that you have agreed with and accepted them must be revoked; then replace these words with the truth of God’s Word.

It may be necessary to cast an evil spirit out.

Once the words are broken, simply command any spirit attached to the curse to go.

Demons have no right to be there once the words have been renounced and broken.

Renew your mind with God’s Word.

Know that you are blessed by God as a redeemed son or daughter, and that Jesus paid the price for every curse to be broken!

Picture
Action Step: Think for a few moments about words spoken over you. Are there any words that you can't forget that someone has spoken over you? If so forgive that person, and tell yourself the truth about the words they spoke. Renew your mind to the truth of what God says about you. Once you have done this, then ask yourself if you have said things about people that cursed them instead of a blessing them? If this is the case, ask them for forgiveness. Then, take the opportunity to bless them. Say good over them. Verbally say with your mouth, "I revoke what I said. I take those words and in there place I speak good and godly words over you." Then, speak a blessing over them. Empower them to prosper.
