Jesus is the first born of many brothers. Check out Romans 8:29 (kjv) "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."
I've been studying why we have middle names. I watched this video and laughed until I cried. At his time of the year we need to have a good laugh. When my parents called my middle name I knew I was in trouble. But can you imagine how James must of felt? You never head James Christ? Comparing to "What would Jesus do?" Well, little update here. We are supposed to be like Jesus. We are supposed to know "WWJD". That does not stand for "What would James do!" Jesus is the first born of many brothers. Check out Romans 8:29 (kjv) "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."
ACTION STEP: Watch this little clip, it's only a little over three minutes long. Jesus little brother did probably have a tough time measuring up to Jesus--so do we. But, we are a work in progress. This holiday season keep in mind what runs in your (New Creation Family.) You are a work in progress. Keep the faith! God won't give up on you!

Wow, that sure went fast. November is gone. As a matter of fact 2019 is almost over as well. Are you happy with the way things went for you? Are you expecting anything to change in 2020? The one denominator that will remain is you and I. We will take us into the New Year. That being said, how will you and I change to bring a better ending to 2020? Want to be thinner? Want to earn more money? Want a better relationship with someone? Want to be closer to God? All of these are quite possible if we begin a few slight changes to ourselves. I've made a lot of changes in my life. Some have been for the better and some were detrimental. Personally I like the ones that were for the better much more. What was the difference? Truly, discipline and lack of discipline. I once heard, "Easy to do-Easy not to do." And truthfully, that's the way all decisions are. Eating the cheeseburger opposed to the salad? Easy to do-Easy not to do. Once in awhile that cheeseburger won't hurt you. Eat a cheeseburger everyday, probably hurt you bad. That's the power of a choice. ACTION STEP: Take it easy on yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day. Building a life that is better than the one you are living right now will take time. With time almost all things are possible. A great woman of God once was preaching and she said she could tear a phone book in half. We all laughed it was like 4 inches thick. Yes, we use to all use a phone book. While she was preaching she tore one page in half at a time. By the end of her message the phone book was torn in half. Strive for progress not perfection!
