1 Chronicles 12:32
"from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;"

Issachar-“There is a recompense/reward”-Issachar is your instinct. This is the part of us that deals with our acute awareness of the times and seasons and how to act and not act, when to strike and when to lay low. The major component of the Issachar anointing is to have a servant’s heart and ears. This is the Ecclesiastes 3 anointing that Mary had when she knew exactly when Jesus was ready for the first miracles and told the servants to do as Jesus told them. This is the gifted awareness in us that just has this knowing on the inside of us. His father describes him as a strong Donkey, an animal that is a beast of burden used symbolically by Jesus as a sign for a season shift. (The Donkey carrying Mary, Jesus before he is born. The Donkey Jesus rides on Palm Sunday showing it was time for another season shift-the ultimate sacrifice.)

The maturity of the Issachar in us will bring peace and contentment but not complacency; as we go through the different seasons of life and therefore a natural surrender to keep in step with God, instead of going ahead of Him.

There are many who know their dreams-(Joseph’s) but miss their opportunity because their Issachar had not been developed.

The story of the 10 virgins is a perfect example about instinct/Issachar had them prepare enough oil if the bridegroom tarried. The five wise ones operated in Instinct (and were rewarded) and the five foolish missed their opportunity.
ACTION STEP: If the video doesn't show up here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1DCmhpFRho Each week I have attached a video but unless you watch it in your browser it will not show up. Stay tuned as I finish the 12 Tribes of Israel and how they affect you and I today and the world in which we live.
