I have so many books I am not sure I will ever get through them all, howbeit I am trying. One of the books I am reading is, "The Joseph Anointing." The sub-title is, "Transforming Jacob to Israel in you." As I am learning about each of the sons and their characteristics and attributes, I can see the war each of us fight. The fight of the Body, Soul and Spirit. The author Victoria Scott encourages us as children of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, that God calls forth the Israel in each of us. God never gives up on us. She also though it is not her intent, at least I don't think it is--shows the importance of prophecy, or better yet, the words we speak over our children.
No matter how each of us has already or will mess up, if we truly love God and are called according to His purposes, will be used for the glory of God. In studying each of the sons of Jacob, we can see characteristics of each of them that were detrimental to their future; as well as buried treasures that God would mine to fulfill His purposes on this earth. There is hope for each of us.
