We have all noticed the unseasonable weather we have been having. Many of us are holding our breath knowing this won't last long. However, the "bird-brained" feathered friends of ours are confused. I noticed that they have begun to sing and it appears they are looking to build their nest?
Sometimes we are a little like our "bird-brained" feathered friends. We think because everything is going along fine that we have nothing to fear or prepare for. In reality we know this is far from the truth. We know the unprepared bird and his family will suffer great loss if he keeps living oblivious to the signs of the times.
So why do we? We live like this world is all there is. We live like all that matters is the here and now. But what about the hereafter?
John 14:3 (NIV) "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

Action step for today: Live like there is a life after this one. Remind yourself that this life is temporary and people aren't. Be intentional in getting others to the same place that you will spend eternity. You can make today the best day of someone's life.
