~ Matthew 6: 34 ~
I don't know why but I always get so overwhelmed about now concerning Christmas. Who knows exactly why? Could be childhood triggers or just my high strung get it done but do it perfect type personality. I want to slow down and enjoy the moment, but truth be known--I don't know how. I want to be present but tend to be busy. How do you all do it? Or does it just look like you do? What I really want is to go be with people. People matter. People energize me. Tasks...lots of them, drain me; and it is not improving with age though I thought it might. So, if your like me just know you are not the only one. ACTION STEP: Things can be overwhelming. Take a step at a time. Set a timer and just work on that overwhelming task for 15 minutes. You will amaze yourself at how much you accomplish and then the task doesn't look so daunting. You've got this! We got this. You pray for me and I will pray for you. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
