Nothing like being sick that will cause you dig into the word. Well, coming from someone who already has an insatiable love for the word, pretty much means I just stay there in the word. I would like to get off the couch and do something but since that's not working for me right now--I will just stay in the word! Take that devil. Talk about paybacks. I will preach, teach, or share whatever I am learning everywhere with everyone. Okay? And you my trusted readers and followers will not leave me because, who else can you laugh at and them never know it? And get some great information from them all at the same time? It's a Win/Win. I gotta share, you getta to listen. Oh, and I promise that is as close to speaking Italian as I will go . Though I have been using this time to work on speaking Italian more fluently.

Jesus is our mediator, intercessor, advocate, and our Lord. He stands between us and the Father. In no place in the Bible does Jesus tell His disciples to pray to Him. They were always to pray to the Father, in His name. If you want to know one of the first secrets, this is it. Pray to God, not saints, not Jesus, not Aunt Betty, but to God the Father in His Son Jesus' name.
If we want to reach the throne we have to come according to the rules laid down in the word of God. Check out John 16:23-24 in your own Bible. Underline it! Highlight it! "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. (Now this is Jesus speaking). Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full." Notice that He said, "In that day ye shall ask me nothing."
Jesus said this right before He went away. He was talking about when He ascended to His Father in heaven. Jesus was sharing with His disciples how and who to pray to. The Bible is full of secrets. God will show us everything if we approach Him with a teachable spirit for the right reasons, abiding by the laws of heaven.

ACTION STEP: "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family (Red, and yellow, black and white they are precious in His sight--Jesus loves the little children of the world,) in heaven and earth is named." It is not important to what church belong, but to whose family you belong. We ask the Father through the Lord Jesus. (Mat. 3:14-15) Many people pray to God, but they know nothing of praying to the Father. They don't sound as if they really know Him. He is God to the world, but Father to me. There is a real joy in knowing that the Father will answer our prayers. This is a secret too few know. Now you know! Share what you know until the whole world knows.
