Blind Spots we all have them.  Exactly, not what you thought I was going to say right?  That’s exactly why they are called Blind Spots.  That’s why we need monitors! The Bible is the perfect monitor not just for our Blind Spots but for our life, but we first have to admit we have blind spots or areas in our life where we see through a glass darkly.

John 9:39-41 (NIV) “39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind. 40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too? 41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.”

1 Corinthians 13:12 (KJV) “12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

When I was young I thought I knew everything. Now that I am older I realize I know so little. Recently when I purchased my new Toyota Camry it came with a BSM. That’s right a Blind Spot Monitor.  I have grown very accustomed to it.  When I am about to pull over into another lane of traffic and don’t see the car beside me it flashes and protects me from doing something stupid and costly.  The car also has one in the rear. If something is behind me or flies past me as I am attempting to back up it sounds an alarm to alert me of danger. This has already paid for itself and my neighbor and I are happy it has.

Today asks the Lord to reveal to you the areas that might be dangerous to you and others. Let the Word of God be your BSM so you have no more BS.

I was just visiting my friend who has blind spot monitors and a back up camera. I got to drive her car and could see that it would take a little bit of getting used to for relying more on the car! Just as it takes some practice and time to rely on God to help us in life!!! If we only can see how much of a benefit it is!!!! Great blog as always!! :-)
