Flowers and plants need the sun to bloom. The sun causes plants to move toward its warmth and light. Without the sun there would be no flowers, no plants no life. As I watch the beautiful flowers lean towards the sun and watch the new blooms open from it's heat it reminds me of how a life opens to Christ. The love of God drawls us towards himself. The bible tells us it is the goodness of God that leads a man to repentance.
Romans 2:4 (NKJV) 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
Everywhere around us we can see the works of God. The handiwork of God shouts, "He is real and He is loving and kind." The birth of a child, the gentle rain falling upon a thristy garden and a blanket of freshly fallen snow all tell of a Creator who knows exactly what needs we have, and how to meet those needs.
Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Never doubt that there is a God and that He loves you with a never dying love. Lean toward Him and allow Him to love you with the same love that compelled Him to give His only begotten Son for you that you might live with Him forever in Eternity. In doing so you will find yourself blooming where you are planted. You will find that where you are is not as bad as you may think. That whatever state you find yourself in, that you can be content. The bible tells us He clothes the lilies of the fields and a sparrow does not fall that He is not aware of. How much more does He care for you. Today allow Him to handle things. Just lean towards Him and He will take care of the rest.
