We can all attest to the fact that we are born with a fallen nature. No one has to teach us sin, it comes with the package if you will. We come out of the womb wanting our will, not Thy will be done. Coupled with this selfish desire many often experience rejection from an unwanted pregnancy or because of gender preference. This being said many children can be born with demons from the above causes or a generational curse.
The hope is that Jesus bore our sickness and diseases and was bruised for our iniquities. Children need born again just like we adults. In the same manner just as adults need deliverance, so do children and the earlier the better. In prayer for deliverance with children we do not need to raise our voices or be overly demonstrative. It is in the authority and the blood of Jesus that sets the captives free. In my experience the Father has more power over their children than I do as a minister. If the parent understands deliverance I usually have them pray over the child and get in agreement with them. (Mal. 14:6, Colossians 3:21, Proverbs 29:15)
Reasons for children to be tormented by demons are many. Here are a few:
1. Children born from incestuous unions (Gen. 19:36- 38).
2. Curse of idol worship extends to fourth generation of great-grandchildren (Exodus 20:1-5).
3. Children who strike their parents (Exodus 21:15). 4. Those who curse their parents (Exodus 21:17).
5. Iniquity of fathers on children (Exodus 34:6-7).
6. Children wandered for 40 years (Numbers 14:18 & 33).
7. Idol worship (Deut. 5:9-10).
8. Rebellious children (Deut. 21:18-21).
9. Curse of the bastard extends to tenth generation of descendants (Deut. 23:2).
10. In son's days evil will come on his house (I Kings 21:19).
11. The iniquity of the father upon the children (Jer. 32:18).

Action Step: If you suspect that your child or children may be affected by demons or demonic influence begin to pray, and ask God for the opportunity to pray the prayer of deliverance using the authority in the name of Jesus, and His blood. Have the father of the child pray that the spirits leave the child in Jesus name. Afterwards if the child is old enough begin to teach the child the Word of God and how to do spiritual warfare themselves. Model godly living in front of your child.
