All children spell love "Time". But, what you do with sons and daughters during that time is totally different. Little boys want their Dad's to be rough and tumble with them. While little girls like conversation. Little girls need to be told how much you love them and how special they are inside and out.
Little girls, like their mothers before them are wired to talk. Daddy's must learn to listen. They need to hear certain things spoken by their fathers such as "You are beautiful inside and out". "I believe you can be anything you want to be." "I am so proud of you." "I am lucky to be your father." All these are seemingly simple to say, because as fathers you feel that way--but they still need to be spoken. Little girls are fragile. Daddy's have the privilege of giving their daughters wings. A daughter that is loved can soar to great heights. Perhaps that is why God wants us to speak well of His bride. The Bride of Christ needs to be loved in this manner as well.
John 13:34 (KJV) "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."
Action Step: Believe in your daughters. Sow seeds of love and admiration and expectation into them. They are birthers. They can birth vision sown into them by the words spoken to them. Let them know that you are the luckiest Dad in the world to have them as your daughter. Listen when they speak. You won't be sorry.
