| Galatians 5:22 (NIV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” Day seven of our look at Galatians 5:22 we are going to look at “Faithfulness”. This ends our series on the Fruits of the Spirit I pray you enjoyed our journey together. I had a wonderful couple of weeks ministering to ladies at conferences recently and have been inspired to do our next Series on “Becoming” so pass the word and Rev-up your mornings by getting them started here at RPMDaily.net where we begin our day with God. Faithfulness is defined as having or showing true and constant support or loyalty, deserving trust, keeping your promises or doing what you are supposed to do, not having sex with someone who is not your wife, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend. (Merriam Webster Dictionary) Obviously this is a rare fruit in the days in which we live. I guess this speaks for itself. We are a people that lack the fruit of faithfulness. There is an ole country song that was popular when I was growing up called, “What’s Forever For”. My brother and I use to sing it after our parents were divorced. Guess you could say we were looking for hope that someone stayed together. PS all of my brothers and I have all stayed married. We are all keeping it alive. Your children believe in your faithfulness. Your spouse believes that forever means forever. God showed us what forever means. Christ led the way. All we have to do is follow His lead. There are those that are following in our footsteps. Where are we leading others? Here are 76 scriptures about faithfulness for your continued study. http://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Faithfulness,-To-God |
