Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Sometimes having fun is like chasing Butterflies. Just when you think you are going to catch one they fly away out of reach. We can plan to have fun and sometimes it is more fun planning and looking forward to the fun than it is to actually experienced what was planned. Joy is something totally different. You can be in the middle of something that is anything but fun and still have joy. Joy comes from the Lord. Happiness is when all the happenings are just right and that's great but what about the times when what's happening is far from right? It is at those times we call upon the Lord and the joy of the Lord becomes our strength to continue through the happenings until they are right.
So that's what I did this week. It was a tough week. It wasn't just the disappointment about the Blog timing but about life's timing. People die, they get sick and the world still turns when you wish it would stop. Then someone gets married, another has a baby and the happiness returns. I don't know what your weekend holds but I know who holds me and my time is in His hands. He created time and all that is good, so if you want to have a "good weekend" add God and it can't help to get better. Blessings for a "Great Weekend!"
