Yesterday morning, I needed a dental procedure. Apparently, fillings go bad after about fifty years. The good news is now they use white fillings, and so it looks like you never had a cavity. The bad news is the cavity can occur under the filling and hurt really bad. So, they grind out the old filling, and the cavity and refill your tooth. I have three needing done yet. They did one today.
With the quarantine my dentist opened early and just worked on me. I love my dentist. But, in all honesty I lost an entire day. Today, are some special peoples birthdays, I had paper work to do, I had projects to complete...nothing. Nothing got done. I was feeling down. So, I got out my grateful journal. I am grateful for a dentist that loves me and takes care of his patients. I am grateful I have a daughter that's having a birthday. I am grateful for Ghostwriters who can take directives and get a job done with excellence.

I am grateful for friends that help me get through my day. I am grateful for a husband who knows how to cook. I am grateful that I have teeth and I can keep my teeth. I am grateful for you. You make me want to write even when I feel like, I have nothing to say that matters. I am grateful Jesus sees us all right now--right where we are; and He gets it.
ACTION STEP: Don't be too proud to ask for help. I was anxious and didn't know what to do yesterday. So, I called a friend--a friend I could trust and depend on. She knows my heart. She knows how much I love God's people. She did a great job. I could focus on getting myself better.
Reach out and ask for help today. Don't always try to do it yourself and go it alone. God cares. God's people care. This will not last forever, but while it is here take a deep breathe and be thankful.
