These are just a few scriptures concerning lying. It is better not to say anything than to tell a lie. If you are dealing with a problem today and you know you cannot break that habit, or control that anger, or quit that way of life then call upon the Lord. He is strength in our times of troubles. (Psalm 46:1) Ask someone who has victory over the very issue you are having trouble with and chances are fairly high they will have some good advice. Good decisions are made with much wise counsel. (Proverbs 15:22)
We all heard the story of Pinocchio when we were children. Wonder what would happen if when we lied our noses really did grow longer?
