It's not about faces but the places.

In His presence is fullness of joy. In His presence I become more than I am. In His presence I receive revelation about subjects I'm not even thinking about. Today I'd like to share with you what He spoke to me about yesterday, during the corporate time of praise and worship.

"It's not about the face but the place." In my spirit I knew the Lord was talking to me about Moses. He went on to tell me that so many are caught up in the face; the face of their pastor, the face of the latest and greatest praise and worship leader, the face of the most prominent politician of the day, the face of their favorite movie star or actor/actress. Then He said, "It's not about the face it's about the place." 

Moses had to climb the mountain to meet with God. It was more about the place Moses had to get to, than the way his face looked when he returned to the people he was called to lead. Then God went on to tell me, few are willing to make the climb. Few are willing to put forth the effort to go where He is. God wants us to pursue Him, not just the transformation of our outward appearance, but that which happens on the inside of us that can't help but to be seen on the outside. 

We have got to get our eyes off the faces and find the places God wants us to go to.Those places where we can climb up out of the generational curses... of empty purses. He wants us to climb out of sickness and disease, and seek His embrace and then His face will be reflected in our face. That place, that embrace, will not just change our face, but call others to make the climb so that they too, will testify of His unfailing grace to change their face.

1 John 3:3 (Youngs Literal Translation) "beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;"

This is what I was talking to you about yesterday. If you want your writings to be fresh then you will have to seek Him, and when you make the climb to meet Him remember what He said. Write it down. Meditate on it. Let God know you appreciate Him sharing fresh revelation with you. Let Him know you will share it with others. Learn from Him it is not all about the faces but the places where you meet with Him, and He changes you.
