Sometimes it is not the devil, but the decision, that got you where you are. Many times we don't bother to ask God about a situation, or a person--we see something that looks good, smells good taste good, feels good, and we are off to the races. When in reality, the devil passed it by us because he knew, it would take us off course. Then we cry out to God, "How did I get here?" "How did this happen?" "Why did you do this to me God?" God doesn't yell back, "You did it yourself." However, if we would ask Him, He may very well tell us, "I had nothing to do with that." I believe if we would be honest, we would come to the conclusion, it was not the devil. It was the decision. God had nothing in it, because we never included Him in the decision. Even if we did consult God and He gave us an answer, would we listen, if it was not what we wanted to hear? We all have decisions to make. Take time to pray, "...not my will but thy will be done..." Then just do it!
