I am reading "The Lost Boy" by Dave Pelzer. What I am finding so fascinating is how "It" as the boy is referred to, works out mental warfare in his head at such a young age. In this book, you read it from the dialog of the conversation in his head. At the time of the book he, "It" is about nine years old. This is the story of a foster child's search, for love of a family. For the Lost Boy it is the fear of not finding food, shelter and safety, that kept him from not staying free; once he was given the opportunity to be free. This really got me thinking about people not taking the opportunities in life that they are presented with; including myself. These seem "It" fears are understandable to me. But, the thoughts I have are the, "What if?" these seem huge things that I allow to sabotage my own life? "What if?" is the small voice that tells you things like, "You won't finish," "You aren't good enough." "You will not be accepted in the field." These are all questions that I ask myself that keep me stuck. Pay attention to what thoughts you are having right now. Write them down and talk to God about them. Then, listen to what He has to share with you. 

I plan to take the assessment offered on this video I shared with you today. I even plan to do an assessment of my own pertaining to abandonment. Once I have my website up and launched, you will be able to take this "FREE" assessment. I am so excited about all the opportunities God is presenting me. I pray as I grow, I will be more equipped to help you grow.

I like what Lance Wallnau said, "The more we speak to the spirit in private, the more we will sense His Presence in public." 

When we start to access and notice our avoidance behaviors, we find there are one or two areas in our life, that we can get stuck instead of moving forward. ACTION STEP: Distinguish between physical and emotional threats. Everyday is a fresh canvas, paint something beautiful. As the Bible tells us, "Renew your mind..." We have to pay attention to our thoughts because they drive our behaviors. 

I believe in you! You can believe in yourself. The Resurrection is in essence a new beginning. It's almost April. A new month. A new season. Maybe, a new and better you.
