Proverbs 4:5-7 (NKJV) "Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding."
The forefathers had it right because they were using the right book. They may have said it differently but they were saying the same thing. Interestingly that the hundred dollar bill still carries the photo of Benjamin Franklin. These great men were willing to risk it all for life, liberty and freedom. Another quote of his says, "If you desire many things, many things will seem few." The Bible tells us, "...to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness will be added to you..." Mat. 6:33 KJV

He was the first person to invent bifocal spectacles, the Franklin stove and the lightning rod, as well as a Fire Department, Lending Library and Learning Academy which later became the University of Pennsylvania.
