The same things happen with people. We really want to meet them so we purposely purchase the book. We get so excited and the first conversation makes us want to know more. Then the relationship seems to die in midair. The next time we meet it’s as though we found a long lost friend.
Timing. Good timing. Bad timing. Maybe we’ve changed? Maybe times have changed. Regardless of the reason we need to learn that-our times are in God’s hands. God is in control. He orders the steps of the righteous. God has a plan for our life. Nothing is by luck or happenstance. If life is a song God is the conductor of the orchestra. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are in control for in reality it is God who is in control. God however wants us to have a free will and serve Him because we want to. More than anything God wants his children to want to serve Him willingly and obediently. If we are lead from the inside out and trust God completely then in reality everything we do or don’t do is very important.
I want to challenge you this week to live from the inside out. You often hear, “Go with your gut.” Call it what you may. I call it following the voice of God. Whatever you call it—don’t ignore it. That inside voice has saved lives and brought two strangers together to birth significant seed on the earth.
I want to pray over you today. Fear not. Live by faith knowing that God has you in His hands and He desires that you rest, knowing He cares for you and He even cares what you read and who you meet. He is a great conductor and the music we make in life as we follow Him, is sound that cannot be ignored.
Genesis 45:7 (KJV) “And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.”
