Love changed my life. Think about that for a moment. God changed all of our lives because He loves us. We all know the scripture that tells us God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son. Most of us have heard that scripture many times. What we do at moments like those determine the course of our life. Once upon a time when I heard those words I felt unction to do something I’d never done, and at that moment I gave my life to Jesus. There are numerous examples of men and women who gave over their will, their money, their possessions, their desires, and dreams to do something for God. I like to call these “moments of decisions”-“short opportunities”, because they are just that, short moments of opportunities that are critical moments of decision.
I encourage you today to make the right decision because those moments come to test us. We cannot wait for life to happen or come to us, like Peter life requires us to step out of areas of comfort or familiarity and come follow. I encourage you to use the time of your life to leave a legacy. Ask yourself, “What will be said of me when I am gone?” When you are faced with moments of decision remind yourself that you serve a supernatural God who is able to do all things and loves you so much he gave His only son. What more could He give to show you and I how much He loves.
Now the ball is in our court. We have numerous opportunities every day to just throw in the towel or throw up our hands and give into the pressures of life and in so doing give up the life and plans God has for us. Let’s wipe off the sweat with the towel and reach up to God for help. Stay in the ring. Fight the good fight of faith. We are pregnant with the blessing and we will birth greatness starting today.
Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
