"Mind the gap."

Psalm 57:2 (ESV) I cry out to God Most High,to God who fulfills his purpose for me.

Read that scripture again. God will fulfill His purpose for me.  I don't have to stress myself out about how I need to fulfill someone else's purpose. I don't have to feel bad about what you think about what I ought to be doing, or what I think others ought to be doing. We all have a different purpose. We are to trust God. This is the hardest thing to do on your own, in fact it's impossible. The only way to trust God is to hang out with Him and get to know Him. We don't trust people we don't know. However, we need to watch where we walk and what we do when we are just going through life.

When we are serving the purpose of God for our life, then promotion comes. God likes it when we are doing what we are created for. God is a Father, so He enjoys and takes pride in watching His children do what He told them, created them, and placed them on this earth to do. Then, God promotes us because if we are faithful in little...He will give us a lot.

God will fulfill His purpose for my life, all I need to do is keep my eyes on the promises of God and adhere to the process.

Your challenge for today: Mind your own business. Do what God called you to do! Mind your own purpose!

Application: When I was in London and rode the London Underground everywhere I went. Each time I got off the train a loud voice would announce, "Mind the gap, mind the gap." I laughed and thought what? What are they saying? I gathered they were referring to the crack between the train rail, and the sidewalk. It is the little things in life that can trip us up. However, a little trip in the wrong crack can cost you your life. So, "Mind the gap," between where you are and where God wants you to be.
