In essence, Jesus said to His disciples, which means He is also instructing us today, that there is NO SUCH THING as ‘Direct’ Service to God. There is only ‘Indirect’ Service to God. We serve others as Jesus served His Father.

However, Spears 1998, p. 6) stated, ``these ten characteristics of servant leadership are by no means exhaustive''
All service to God is in direct correlation to how we serve others.
1 John 4:20-21 (NKJV) "If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also."
Being a leader isn’t just about standing on stage and preaching a sermon to a room filled with people. You don’t have to lead worship or even stand in a spotlight. You don’t have to go to seminary or train to know all the right answers. All you have to do is follow Jesus.
