Most people outside of Christ are not peacemakers. If you watch any of these daytime talks shows (which I don’t)–and I mean the controversial ones–they seem to want to stir up anger and hatred. The liberal media seems bent on inciting our nation to anger and riot, but Jesus reserves a very special blessing on those who are peacemakers.
He said in Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons (and daughters) of God.”

Psalm 34:14 (NIV) “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
Action Step: Today exercise yourself to be a peacemaker with others and with God.
