2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV) "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
I am taking a break in our study of Jeremiah to remind this great nation to pray today and to continue to pray for this great nations. Prayer has the power to change the course of history, raise the dead, extend the life of a human, heal the sick, stop a storm and that's just a few Biblical examples of the power of prayer.
The God of Jeremiah and all the prophets, the God of Abraham and all the patriarchs, the God of Joshua and Caleb and all the young people everywhere allows us --His children to pray to Him and hears our prayers. We the people of God have an audience with God. The God who made the universe and you and I hears the whisper of His name and responds to us as a father responds to His child. Why? Because of love.
