We need to be prepared to deal with peer pressure beforehand. We need to wake up each morning with a decided mind to keep ourselves pure and obey God’s leading. Everyday we will face peer pressure so we may as well deal with it early.
Psalms 118:6 (NKJV) “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
When we arm ourselves with this mindset, we are ready throughout the day. If we have decided to serve God with our life, then He can give us boldness to stand up for what we believe is right.
1 Peter 3:17 (NKJV) “For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
The worst thing that can happen when we stand against peer pressure is that we have to suffer the disapproval of people for doing what we know is right. Disapproval is nothing compared to the inner peace and joy we get when we have a pure conscience and the boldness that comes from doing what is right.
