Did your ears ever play tricks on you? I mean you know you heard something but what you thought you heard, wasn't what you heard. So let me explain. I got out of the car and heard what I thought to be a baby crying. Now I am in a parking lot of a restaurant when I hear what I perceive to be a baby crying. I am really getting upset as I go from car to car to figure out which car has this crying baby in it. When I find it I am going to call the police. Who leaves their baby in the car and goes into a restaurant to eat? So as I am looking around this cute little family gets our of their car, and I ask them if they hear what I hear? "Oh yes those are squirrels." "What?" Sure enough they pointed up into the trees and showed me the nest and told me, "They do sound like a baby crying now that you say that." Now, because they knew about "Crying squirrels" here in Florida, they thought it was hysterical that I thought it was a baby crying. They are used to the noise in their little town, I was not. Here is a picture of my cry baby. Obviously I was closer to his/her nest than preferred. I backed away as he/she continued to cry. I walked back to my car glad I didn't call 911 or start jerking door handles because in Florida there are so many tinted windows I couldn't see inside the cars. Someone watching me probably thought I was a thief trying to break in cars. I guess I was blessed no one called the cops on me. Just goes to show you these five physical senses of ours can really play tricks on us, and make us look pretty squirrelly. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (NAS) "But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;"
