God bless America.
Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. ... Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Today is a day to remember the dead. As we picnic and enjoy family, let's remember those that have given their life so that we can do these things today. We are grateful for the price they have paid. We give thanks today to all the families that made the ultimate sacrifice of being without their loved ones so that we could live in a free nation.
God bless America.
