― Elie Wiesel
“Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies: The past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort. Their bodies are constantly bombarded by visceral warning signs, and, in an attempt to control these processes, they often become expert at ignoring their gut feelings and in numbing awareness of what is played out inside. They learn to hide from their selves.” (p.97)”

Ephesians 2:10 ESV
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
There is a "stuckness" in people that have experienced trauma or at the least have a higher incidence of self-sabotaging. Most of our beliefs are formed before we are seven years old. Our goal as individuals is to take the lid off limiting beliefs so they don't become a generational stronghold in our children, and their children, and so forth. It's hard to see the rug, if you're a bug in the rug. It takes someone that can see the whole rug, to tell us "the bug" to get out of the rug. It is also said, "You can't read the label when you're in the bottle." So what can you do? Get help.
It helps for Holy Spirit to show us how to get un-stuck. This often times takes people in our lives that are filled with the Holy Spirit to see what we don't see. Here is a good short link to a video below that shows us why we are not to judge people who have experienced trauma: https://youtu.be/Cn_ccZn2cQ0
For todays video I am using another MedCircle YouTube. As I have been watching these to teach myself, I am sharing some of them with you.
