Sometimes I just want to pause and say, "Thank You Lord."

I absolutely love being a "Nonna". This is what my grandsons call me. When they see me their little faces light up, and they grin from ear to ear. I literally feel my heart soar.

They are at the beach for the very first time. My daughter is sending me pictures and I am doing my best not to blow up facebook. Nevertheless, my heart is thrilled with the joy that God has allowed me to experience. The gifts the Lord gives us are immeasurably better than anything this world has to offer.

Deuteronomy 6:2 and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the LORD your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.
Starting the first Wednesday night in July and continuing through the entire month I will be teaching a series on Parenting. If you don't have a local church or they do not offer a mid week service allow me to personally invite you. If you do not live in the area you can live stream by clicking on this link http://mfc.churchonline.org

Being a grandparent is an opportunity to not just have a chance at doing things better, but investing into your grown children the knowledge you have gathered; so that together you can do things better. It is an opportunity to apologize to your grown children for the things you and I didn't do right. It is a great opportunity to share the word of God, and the wisdom of God that you have gathered while on your journey of raising children. God trusted Abraham because He knew Abraham would do right with his children. As children of Abraham ourselves let's keep the "doing right" going throughout all generations.
Deuteronomy 4:8-9 And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today? Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
