There is no reason for us to pray if we are not praying for results. God does hear. God does answer. God did not put all the statements about prayer in the Bible just to fill up pages. They are there for our benefit. God wants us to pray in the name of Jesus to Him directly as a child cries out to their Father. God is not mad at you. God does not hate you. God hates sin, but He loves us--the sinner. When at the wedding of Cana, Jesus' mother told him, "They have run out of wine." His reply to her was, "Woman what has that got to do with me, my time has not come yet." But, she persisted. She told the servants do whatever He tells you. The servants did what He told them to do. Once they did what was told of them a miracle occurred. God wants to do miracles through you, through me. We need to plead our case and then obey what He tells us to do. Pray for results because it is the time for miracles. Notice, that God said in this scripture, "Put me in remembrance." Those who have been mighty in prayer have always been those who reminded God of His promises and brought His Word before Him. Charles Finney is known as the man who prayed down revival. 85% of his converts remained true to God. Moody was a great evangelist but he only kept 50% of his converts. Imagine, Finny went to Rochester, New York in 1829 and conducted a meeting and practically everyone in town got saved! Grog shops closed down. (We call them Honkey Tonks and Beer Joints.) There wasn't a place in town to buy anything to drink. The only theater in town closed up. There was such a revival when the circus came to town only two people showed up. Everyone was interested in God. The revival was on. ACTION STEP: This is not the Great Awakening this is The Awakening of the Great! For Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. Pray until you feel like praying. Come see us Sunday morning and learn how to pray with power and get results. It's in the Word. It is for us today. It is time for MIRACLES to happen. Pray for results. Put God in remembrance of His word.
