The Delicate Balance of Life and how important you are to God.

No matter how small we are, we matter! We matter to God, and many times we matter to others. Even in the worst of times when people are not at their best, somehow we are all able to muster up the power to do good to those, who can never pay us back. Below is a picture of a snails eggs. I should have had a, "Guess what this is contest?" How many of you would have guessed right? The driver of our Airboat, Becky made sure she never disturbed or damaged these little guys with out boat.

There were dead fish everywhere. Trees were dying. Flowers were dying. Why? Too much rain. The recent Hurricane left too much water behind, and there was literally a fish kill. The fish died for lack of oxygen. They were all "Belly up", as Nemo put it. The stench was awful in several areas. The trees had lost their leaves already, and the flowers ceased to bloom. There was just too much water.

I have been in this area before, and the same things occurred, but it was because of too little rain. This got me thinking of the delicate balance of life. It does not matter if it is too little, or too much, of a good thing--it can still be life threatening.

So, how about you? Do you have too little God, or too much God? How can you have too much God? When you get religious instead of staying relational, or losing your first love. To loose the love and awe of just being saved by grace, and how good God was to you, rather than judging others on how bad they are compared to the Word of God.

God does not love us all the same. He loves us all uniquely. Jesus had the twelve, but then He had the three. Our driver today loved what she did. She loved all the wetland wildlife, but she particularly loved the snail. What my eye would have missed, her's was on the look out for. I was looking for alligators, snakes, birds and wildflowers. Becky was looking for the little things, that have a tougher time surviving.

God is looking out for you today. No matter how small or insignificant you may feel. He is as close as the mention of His name, and He is looking out for you. Below is a picture of the local "safe house", for those on the waters when a storm runs in. Everyone helps keep it safe so, that when anyone needs it--it is there. Of course today was not a good day for grilling out :) but, there it stood even through the storm, just in case it was needed.

There is a safe house. It is in the arms of God.
John 14:2-3 (KJV) "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
