Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The list of regrets that can stack up in one’s life are too numerous to count. I wish I’d taken more chances, I wish I would have finished this or started that. My mantra is, “do it afraid.” Do it afraid of failure. Do it afraid of ridicule. Do it afraid of success. Just do it. I have found that it really is not as bad as our inner voices have screamed it will be. “Don’t do it”, our conscious mind screams, and yet our spirit man says, “Soar above the storm.” Success is listening to the spirit man and silencing the voice of the flesh—the one who thinks he/she knows it all. There is but one who is the “all knowing” and He, Himself has chosen to make His abode within this mortal man.
Colossians 1:27 (NKJV) “27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Inside of me resides a power much greater than any force that I alone am able to expel. Inside of you is an untapped resource that can move mountains and dispel darkness and even calm raging seas. Harnessed and directed we are invincible warriors. It is time for us to arise as the mighty arm we are. Begin today. Get up today and begin to fight again. You are victorious.
1 John 4:4 (KJV) “4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
