Training is essential to become all you were called to be.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV) "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."

Jesus spent three years training His disciples. When you think about it, who trained you? Maybe it was an uncle, maybe a father, a grandfather, or neighbor but everyone of us can probably think of someone who helped shape us. 

But, perhaps you were one that no one took time to invest in. Perhaps what is in you has never been mined out. No one saw the gold. No one mined the greatest treasure of all...the destiny that God put in you. 

​It is never too late to find a mentor. It is always the right time to invest in yourself. One of the many ways that you can invest in yourself is to find someone doing what you want to do and then go after them. Ask them to mentor you. Then be willing to do what they ask of you. Fall in love with what they love. Develop a passion for what they are passionate about and allow what's in them to get in you.

Jesus did just that and today it is still the best way to become what you were always called to be.
