From home improvement projects, to fixing your car, to making a flight reservations it doesn't really matter--what you don't know can hurt you. Seems projects always cost us more than we thought they would and take us longer than we thought they would. Once we get into a project we usually find out we did not know as much as we thought we did. So whenever we do anything there is a learning period that reveals where we are deficit in our knowledge. Once we have accomplished the task we are better equipped to help others.
Noah didn't build a boat over night. Ruth didn't learn the ways of Naomi's people over night. Moses didn't deliver the people in a few months or even a few years. It took time. There was a learning curve but each of them finished strong.
It doesn't matter how you start it matters how you finish. Begin where you are and then refuse to quit. Persevere and God will meet you in your weakness and give you strength. He is faithful. He is called Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
