When Christmas is over and things start to settle down I begin to think of all the wonderful gifts I have received and that I have given. I think of the people that gave the gift and the faces of those when they opened their gifts and I can recapture their faces. Christmas seems to be able to be re-lived all over again for those moments.
John 3:16 (NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Then I had this thought. The Bible, God's word continues to give every moment of every day. Salvation is the gift that we all need. It fits us all perfectly. It brings more joy that any other gift we could ever receive. Jesus freely gave His life to purchase that gift for us. Open the gift today. You can have Christmas any day--any time.
