Expectations of a better tomorrow.

We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aid, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn.
-Henry David Thoreau
Picture
Proverbs 23:18 ESV "Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off."

When I read this scripture, I thought about the expectations that God has for our lives. He had an expectation for Jeremiah before he was born, even while he was being formed in his mothers womb. God expects us to fulfill our call. God created us for a purpose. When we are fulfilling the purposes of God we bring God great joy. The Bible says that, the Lord rejoices in the prosperity of His saints.  Well, I want to make the Lord really, really, rejoiceful! Okay, so maybe I had to make up a word there, but I am sure you get my point. I do not want to disappoint or bring my Father God grief or sorrow.

In the same way, I believe we are to expect the best of others. If we expect the best of others sure, we may be disappointed. However, if we expect nothing we will get nothing. I expect my God will do what His word says. His word never fails me. Through His power, I can do all things. This means that even the hard things--will be accomplished when I put my trust in Him.

Don't let culture or circumstances knock the hope out of you. Breathe. Breathe deeply into your very soul the words of life. God will have His way. God will make a way. God will move what gets in my way. I have high expectations that in Christ it is all going to be okay.
Picture
ACTION STEP: Exercise your God given gift of life! Get filled up, until your expectations become your realities. Could you get disappointed? Sure you can. Disappointment comes with breathing. Thank God there is still breath in your lungs and that means there is still something God wants from you. Trust me when He is done with us, our time on this earth is over. I'm still here! You're still here! Let's go get what God has in store for us! Starting right now!

How to hear the voice of God Part #10-The End.

Luke 6:46
Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

7. THE LAW OF THE RUDDER
The Law of the Rudder teaches that you steer your life with words. Life is a journey. Some walk through life without direction, focus, or purpose and are blown here and there and everywhere by all kinds of circumstances. These never seem to find their lane. That’s not you. You understand the powerful principle of the Law of the Rudder. Apostle James taught that you are the captain, your heart is the boat, and your tongue is the rudder.

“Behold, the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, are yet turned about by a very small rudder, whither the impulse of the steersman willeth. So the tongue also is a little member and boasteth great things. Behold, how much wood is kindled by how small a fire!” (James 3:4-5, ASV)

ACTION STEP: This concludes the series on "Hearing the Voice of God." I pray that with the seven things we "Need to" and knowing the seven "Laws of the Kingdom" you will reach the desired place God has for you in this Kairos (God timing) moment in which we live. You are created in God's image and He has given you His authority. Get in your lane and steer your way to victory! Do what God tells you to do.

How to hear the voice of God part #9

Hearing the voice of God is something we grow in. As a young Christian I heard the voice of God through my pastors and leaders. Later in my walk with Christ I began to hear God for myself. Never despise the stage you are in. There is always room to grow. We each have our own relationship with God just as each child has their own relationship with their father.

Tomorrow we look at Law of the Kingdom #7, the final Law in our series. I pray this has been a help to you and that you are changing the world!

Picture
6. THE LAW OF THE BUILDER
The Law of the Builder states that you can frame your world with the Word of God. In Genesis Chapter One, God reveals himself as the Voice that Speaks to create. In John Chapter One, God reveals himself as the Word that Speaks to create. Christ said, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples” (John 15:7-8). Just as God framed the world with words you can frame your world with His words.

“Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things that are seen were not made of things that do appear.” (Hebrews 11:3)

We need to apply the Word of God to our daily living. Speak the Word daily. Regardless of what you want to say, choose to say what the Word says. Yes, I know that the world is a press, trying to mold you and I into something negative. But, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. We are in the world. Yes. But, we do not have to be controlled by this world. We are to control the world with our words.

Picture
ACTION STEP: What are you building? Look around you and you will be able to tell. How? By seeing what you have already built. Do you have a good marriage? What have you been saying about your marriage? Are your children a joy and a blessing? What have you been saying about your children? Our words create our world. To change your world--change your words. Today is a new day! Today you can begin to work with the Law of the Builder.

Hearing the voice of God #8 in the series.

For the last two weeks I have been sharing with you on the topic of hearing the voice of God. Today, we are on part eight. This particular point is one of my favorites because I have seen this one work time after time in my own life. I truly believe that what we do today, effects our tomorrows. Kind deeds done or harsh words spoken, each have their own harvest. The law of sowing and reaping works. The words we speak are either words of life or words of death. Prophesy into your future what you want to see. Jesus cursed the Fig Tree. Later in the future there was that Fig Tree he cursed--dried up at the roots. When you walk into your future what will be waiting for you?
Picture
5. THE LAW OF FUTURE HARVEST
The fifth law is the Law of Future Harvest. The Law of Future Harvest understands that the seed of revelation enters the future and waits for your arrival. One day Christ demonstrated this law when he cursed a fig tree. Speaking to the fig tree, he said, “No man eat the fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it” (Mark 11:14).

Can you imagine this? Surely the disciples were amazed. Here is Christ talking to a tree. They said nothing and saw nothing, but the next day they did. They saw the fig tree withered up from the roots. Christ was not teaching how to curse fig trees. The lesson was the Word of God released did what it was sent to do. Notice the results, however, of that seed were waiting in the future for the disciples to pass by.

“And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away.” (Mark 11:20-21)
Picture
ACTION STEP: What are you sowing? Dream big and then share your dreams with others that love you and want to see the best for you. Remember Joseph. Just because they are your brothers does not mean that is who you should be sharing with, as they may become jealous. Let the Lord lead you. Then, operate within all the Laws of the Kingdom remembering the previous Blogs. So far, we have talked about Laws one through five. Tomorrow we will look at Law number six, "The Law of the Builder."

"Seven Power Laws of the Kingdom of God".
  1. The Law of Beginnings
  2. The Law of Seed
  3. The Law of the Sower
  4. The Law of Dominion
  5. The Law of Future Harvest
  6. The Law of the Builder
  7. The Law of the Rudder

Previous Points on how to hear the voice of God:

Points: See 1 Samuel 3:5-10
1.
We need to be under authority. Here I am you called me. Doesn’t matter what they ask’s of us. Doesn’t matter what time of day it is.

2. We need to be in a house. Under a Roof. Fed in house. Clothed in the house. A bed, to sleep in is a sign of covenant.
3. When we have question’s we need to go to our overseers. We don’t run or hide from our leaders but to our leaders, again regardless of the time.
4. We need to be obedient to what we are told to do,
no questions asked. Go back? Go lie down? Not what a young protégé’ wants to hear, “go back, lie down.”
5.  Then, we need to follow through with what God tells us, even though it could possibly put us in harm’s way. Tell our leaders the truth.
6. We must be in an intimate relationship with both our authority and God. We don’t just sleep and eat in anyone’s house. We don’t just obey anyone. In the spirit, we do not know when we are most fertile. Even in the natural there is no conception without intimacy. I am accustomed to his walk not just his verbal language, because of our years of marriage and working together in ministry. Catch what’s on the heart of God. We don’t necessarily have to close our eyes or have a dream. Each child of God has a unique personal relationship with God. So, some maybe impressions, open visions, thoughts, dreams…etc.
 7. We must stay in our position until leadership moves us. One of the ways God talks to us is through dropping desire in to our hearts. A good read is, "Powered by Desire", by Micheal Masambu a new book just released.

Today, speak to things in your life. Either speak words of life or words of death, depending on what you want to grow. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Refuse to say what you do not want. Don't want your kids to drive you crazy? Don't say it. Don't want to run out of money before you run out of month? Don't say it.

If you are just finding RPMDaily Blog, we have been in a series on "Hearing the voice of God." Please help yourself to the messages from last week in my archives located down the right side or at the bottom of this Blog. Today, we are on point #4 of 7 points I want to share with you. Please share with your friends. I would like to go live, on You Tube and do a Vlog but I need 1K viewers to do that. Please help me get the word to the world, one life at a time. Help me leave a legacy of faith filled believers who hear the voice of God. Ask your friends to subscribe.

4. THE LAW OF DOMINION
The fourth law is the Law of Dominion. The Law of Dominion states that the anointed Word of Christ has dominion in this realm. The Centurion understood this law. He told Jesus his servant was home sick. Jesus said he would come and heal the man. The Centurion amazed Christ when he declared, “Speak the word only and my servant shall be healed.” This is one of the greatest lessons you can learn, the power of the anointed word to take dominion in this earthly realm.

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 AMP)

Picture
ACTION STEP: Make a list of all of these 7 Laws of the Kingdom. Then, begin to try to stay within the boundaries and operate within the Laws of the Kingdom. Lawbreakers never win. God wants to see His children win.  Work with gravity and you and I can fly. Operate outside the law and we will fall.

Tomorrow, we will look at point #5 of 7 The Law of the Future Harvest which is one of my favorites.

Deuteronomy 4:36
Out of the heavens He let you hear His voice to discipline you; and on earth He let you see His great fire, and you heard His words from the midst of the fire.

Picture
3. THE LAW OF THE SOWER
The third power law is the Law of the Sower. The Sower is a spiritual warrior. He understands the five demonic assignments Satan uses to steal, kill, and destroy the rhema out of the heart of the sons of God. Following the Law of the Sower will move you beyond the powers of darkness that steal through pressure, ill-treatment, debt, wealth answers all, and things forbidden and launches you mightily into your harvest.

“And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables? The sower soweth the word. And these are they, by the wayside, where the word is sown, but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:13-20)
Picture
James 3:6 NLT
"And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself."

ACTION STEP: Are you aware of the five demonic assignments Satan uses to steal, kill, and destroy the rhema out of the heart of the sons of God. Following the Law of the Sower will move you beyond the powers of darkness that steal through (1) pressure, (2) ill-treatment, (3) debt, (4) wealth answers all, and (5) things forbidden and launches you mightily into your harvest. Which one is an enticing bait for you? Ask God to cause you to have an aversion for it. God will hear and answer you in your times of temptation.

1 Samuel 3:10
"The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Picture
2. THE LAW OF THE SEED
The second power law is the Law of the Seed. The Law of the Seed is this; the seed knows what to do. As Christians, we associate seed in this context to the revealed Word of Christ in our spirits. I get excited about this power law because the revealed word is like a seed released into our lives. Jesus taught his disciples that the kingdom of God is like a man that cast seed into the ground and that seed knows what to do. Awesome! That means that once you receive a revelation, the seed of His Word is fast at work and cannot fail. This means you don’t have to figure everything out. All you have to do is go about your business in faith, and the seed will do what’s it’s designed to do, produce a harvest. Not any harvest, but your harvest.

“So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle because the harvest is come.” (Mark 4:26-29)

Tomorrow, "The Law of the Sower."

Picture
ACTION STEP: What seeds have you been sowing? "My back is killing me." NO! Ask God for a bum crop on those words (bad seeds). "My back is healed! and strong." (good seeds) "These kids are driving me nuts!" Welcome to the nut house!! NO! "These kids are a blessing to me." Then, we have what we say and our children are a blessing. Change your words and you will change your world.

1 Samuel 3:8b-10
"...Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening."             So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Spiritual laws of God are fundamental.

Now that you are born again, it’s important to learn how to live out of the laws of the Kingdom of God.

Perhaps you have never heard that terminology before, but it’s important to consider.

Every kingdom has its way of doing things, so is the kingdom of God. Even in the natural we know when we are fertile. Knowing this we can get in position to receive seed and bring forth and birth. In the supernatural we never know when we are most fertile and when we will receive the seed of the Word of God; so we must stay in position--stay in our place.

Because we were born into the Babylonian way of doing things, we are not aware of the principles of Christ’s kingdom. This is why we have to get schooled.

It’s not good enough to only focus on getting saved, because we have so much to accomplish with our lives after we get saved with the remaining years He has given us.

We need to be saved to serve. (My series in the RCI Bookstore which you can reach by calling 304-292-7283 and they can mail it out to you)

I know you want to make a difference with your life.

You’re not like everybody else that’s just droning around in some reality television haze.

No, you are part of God’s remnant.

The remnant is hungry, thirsty, and press into the Word and ways of God.

Everything in you wants more of the Holy Spirit.

You feel like Jeremiah with power shut up in your bones.

To understand how the kingdom of God operates, it’s helpful to look at how Christ taught his disciples.

Most of what he did was to teach them about the Dominion & power of the anointed Word of God in this earth realm.

You can study all the individual lessons like healing the sick, casting out demons, cursing the fig tree, rebuking storms, or multiplying fishes and loaves, but the big picture was the dominion & power and authority of the Word of God in this earthly realm.

So, starting from that big picture of the Word’s authority we can add seven vital principles to help us understand how we function within the kingdom of God.

"Seven Power Laws of the Kingdom of God" will be what we will look at the remainder of the week.
  1. The Law of Beginnings
  2. The Law of Seed
  3. The Law of the Sower
  4. The Law of Dominion
  5. The Law of Future Harvest
  6. The Law of the Builder
  7. The Law of the Rudder

1. THE LAW OF BEGINNINGS
The first power law is the Law of Beginnings. The Law of Beginnings states that everything new in your life starts with a Word from God. I know you are trying to do everything possible to get your life moving in the right direction. That’s good, but it’s vital you understand how the sons of God get things going within the kingdom. They start by waiting for the Word of God. By that I mean they are listening carefully for the Holy Spirit to release a rhema word into their spirits. That rhema word is the unlocking of a new season. Within that revelation is the entrance to another level, another thing you need to do, is to clarify your purpose, or what decisions to make with your life. Notice that this prophetic announcement in Isaiah opens a new thing. Scripture says,

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

Tomorrow, we will learn about the THE LAW OF THE SEED.
Picture
ACTION STEP:  Study beginnings and see where God would have you begin. What seeds of greatness are inside of you, that you need to water (speak to)? Refuse to curse your life by the words you speak.

Hearing the voice of God part 3.

“Every leader will be tested by pain.”
T.D. Jakes

Picture
  1.  We need to be under authority. Here I am you called me. Doesn’t matter what our spiritual authority tells us or asks of us, if it is not immoral or illegal. It doesn’t matter what time of day it may be. We need to bounce what we are hearing off of our leadership.
  2. We need to be in a house. Every house has a roof, this speaks of a covering. A covering from the storms of life and daily elements.  In the house is wear we are eing fed, being clothed. There is a bed in the house which is a sign of covenant.
  3. When we have question’s we need to go to our overseers. We don’t run or hide from our leaders but to our leaders, again regardless of the times.
    4. We need to be obedient to what we are told to do. No questions asked. Growing            up in the house of God is where we learn obedience. Jesus even said, "I only do what              my Father asks. Go back? Go lie down? Not what a young protégé’ wants to hear, “go              back, lie down.” But, our leadership is under authority too. God will deal with them. We            see in this story of Samuel and Eli that God used Samuel to deal with his spiritual father.
    5.  Then, we need to follow through with what God tells us. When God tells us to so           something even though it could possibly put us in harm’s way, we do it!. We must tell               our leaders the truth, the whole truth.
    6. We need to be in an intimate relationship with both our spiritual authority and        God. We don’t just sleep and eat in anyone’s home. We don’t just obey anyone. In the           spirit we do not know when we are most fertile. Even in the natural there is no conception       without intimacy. I am accustomed to my husband's walk, not just his verbal language,             because of our years of marriage and working together in ministry. Catch what’s on the           heart of God. We don’t necessarily have to close our eyes or have a dream. Each child of        God has a unique personal relationship with God. So some He will speak to through                impressions, others, open visions, thoughts, dreams…etc.
    7. We must stay in our position until leadership moves us. One of the ways God                talks to us is through dropping desire in to our hearts. Samuel desired to please His                Father. Samuel desired to hear the voice of God. Samuel would risk anything to hear and          obey the voice of God in his life. When he did that God promoted him. God will do the              same for you and I. We just need to do these 7 things and above all be obedient.
Picture
ACTION STEP: When you hear the voice of God remember the 7 things listed above and go through them. Then, tell the Lord (Lord means Master), "Speak I am listening." Here is a link for you to hear the entire message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMZxGw_vuzA&t=5s    Read the story of Samuel in your Bibles found in 1 Samuel chapters 1-4 specifically, but you can search the Bible for more of his life and stories. Every leader will be tested by pain. Sometimes, it is painful living and serving under our leaders--serve anyway. Our times are in the hand of God. (Psalm 31)

Hearing the voice of God part 2

1 Samuel 3:5-10 NIV
5 And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So, he went and lay down.
6 Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
“My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.”
7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.
8 A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
Picture
I can only imagine the story. Samuel wakes up in the middle of the night and runs upstairs to answer the call of his father, only to hear his father say, "go back and lie down, I never called you." I guess the first time I heard it I would have said, "hummm must of been something I ate or a bad dream." I would have wobbled back down to my place and went back to sleep. But, after the third time I think I would have been a bit frustrated. Not to mention, old Eli. He was probably getting a bit upset with this young man waking him up. I will give it to old Eli though, he finally figured it out. Makes me wonder if God had spoken to him when he was a young man. Perhaps, he was just pawning the boy off on God. We will never know. The one thing we do know is God called Samuel again and this time the Lord came and stood there and called his name as He did the other two times. This time Samuel answered the Lord.

There are as far as I could find, seven things we can see from this portion of scripture (1 Samuel 3:5-10) that we need in order to hear the voice of God:

The Seven “We need’s”.
  1. We need to be under authority.
  2. We need to belong to a house.
  3. When we have question’s we need to go to our overseers.
  4. We need to be obedient to what we are told.
  5. We need to follow through with what God told us.
  6. We need to be in an intimate relationship with our Spiritual overseers and God.
  7. We must stay in our positions until leadership moves us.

I will be sharing all week on "How to hear the voice of God." Tune in below for the entire message. Click here if it does not show up below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMZxGw_vuzA&feature=share
ACTION STEP: When God speaks refuse to ignore His voice. Do whatever it takes to communicate with Him. Risk rejection. Risk putting yourself in harms way. Do whatever to hear your Father speak to you. It is in hearing His voice, that you and I will hear the purpose for which we were created. Today, listen for Him calling you.

See you here tomorrow. Please share this post and the message. Someone needs to find their purpose. Help me get this message out.
